Indicates the type of interface the graphic card uses. PCI-E 2.0 gives the fastest transfer rate to the computer (2007) at 5GT/s (compared to PCI-E 1.0 at 2.5GT/s). The AGP interface is an older standard not used in new graphic cards.
Short for Digital Visual Interface, a digital interface standard to convert analog signals into digital signals to accommodate both analog and digital monitors. DVI handles bandwidths in excess of 160 MHz and thus supports UXGA and HDTV.Most graphics cards have two monitor connections. Often, one is a DVI connector, which supports LCD screens, and the other is a VGA connector, which supports CRT screens. Some graphics cards have two DVI connectors instead. But that doesn't rule out using a CRT screen; CRT screens can connect to DVI ports through an adapter.
