About PriceRunner and the Energy Saving Recommended
At PriceRunner.co.uk, we are committed to doing our bit for the environment – and to helping you do your bit too. That’s why we’ve teamed up with the Energy Saving Trust, to help you find the most energy efficient products by displaying the Energy Saving Recommended logo next to endorsed products.
Energy Saving Recommended is an independent scheme that endorses energy efficient products. It is run by the Energy Saving Trust and was set up in 2000 to help you identify the most energy efficient products quickly and easily. The scheme covers over 2,500 products from kettles, to dishwashers to tumble dryers and more.
Each endorsed product has to meet strict criteria. Only after it meets these, can it proudly display the Energy Saving Recommended logo. This means it is one of the most energy efficient products that you can buy in the UK, helping you save energy, money and the environment. So for energy efficiency, look than the Energy Saving Recommended logo before you buy (see image top left).
