Nokia 6500 Slide mobile phone

(12/12/07)
Summary: With its recent 6500 Slide and Classic models, Nokia has introduced the most unlikely twins since Schwarzenegger and DeVito. Although they share the same model number and 3G capability, the 6500 Slide and 6500 Classic are very different devices both in looks and key features. Read the full review

Review of GSM/UMTS-handset Nokia 6500 slide

(04/12/07)
Summary: The volume of the 72-chord call alert is quite high; the device is very audible in various environments, although, since there is only one polyphonic speaker on the place, that is located on the rear on top of that, you might end up missing a call should you have the 6500 slide in your jeans pocket. The handset does well on the reception... Read the full review

Nokia 6500 Slide

(31/05/07)
Summary: Read the full review
Verdict: Despite its name, the Nokia 6500 Slide (Nokia spell itslidein lowercase) has very little in common with theNokia 6500 Classic. Both are non-smartphone dual-band 3G devices with 240x320 pixel displays, and really that's about it.

Nokia 6500 Slide Review

Summary: Read the full review
Verdict: Mobile phones’ manufacturers are fairly creative setting up their market strategies in the pursuit of attracting greater attention towards their products. As a rule, Nokia phone models have been known for their “letter-number” codes, yet complete names have also been introduced recently. This is a good move to accentuate

Nokia 6500 Slide

Summary: Read the full review
Verdict: The Nokia 6500 is a good phone - but not necessarily a great phone. Sure, it has a lot of features and an LCD screen that all of the other phones need to incorporate, but after that there really is not much there. It is almost as though it tries to do too much, but does not do any of it especially well.
Pros: ; Decent battery life; Small form factor; Best LCD in the business; Two models to choose from gives consumers the ability to choose the features they want; 3G capability; Lots of capabilities on the slider version
Cons: ; No Wi-Fi; Classic version may be too crippled
