What is negative?poor quality papers and refuse to reprint the photos for mistakes they've made.

What is positive?One of the cheapest that I found. The photo quality is excellent. Very quick service. I ordered on Friday morning and the photos(including the mug) were at my door on Saturday morning !!
You have to download a utility. But its very easy to use. It warns you if some images may not get printed correctly. Although I found that the only way to add images for different print formats was to use the back button, which is rather odd.

What is positive?Speed, price and quality. I ordered them about 11pm at night on the thursday, they were through my letter box saturday morning, must have been processed and sent out same day friday. Price seems better than other online services. I'm not an expert in such areas, but the quality seemed perfectly okay to me, couldn't fault it.
What is negative?you have to download the software. though having said this, it is well designed and easy to use.

What other photo labs have you used?I've used lots of different photo labs before for regular film/negatives, but Bonus print are my first supplier of online digital processing prints.

What is positive?The print quality far exceeded my expectations, they were much better than I can produce using my own printer, and they work out cheaper too.
What is negative?All the photos get sent back together. In my case I had 93 photos in sizes ranging from 4x6inch to 5x7.5inch, plus I had 3 photos in a size of 8x12 inch. I would have prefered that the larger prints came in seperate packaging because they were creased slightly during transit by the quite thick wad of smaller photos in one side of the packaging (it was probably made worse by rough handling of the post office!). I called Bonus print to explain, they answered promptly and give me a free post return address. I sent two back where the slight crease was noticable when seen in a frame. Bonus print reprinted and sent back all 3 (in exchange for my 2 !) large prints within a week without any quibbles. An excellent service to rectify a minor defect!!!
SummaryThe print quality is excellent. Speed is pretty much as fast as first class post. You get to talk to a person on the end of a phone if you need to. It was easy to get reprints to rectify a problem.

I wish things were as easy with others online shopping companies!

What is positive?I found the service very good. I am not a photographic anorak so to me the pictures I received were as I expeted. I would recommend them to any novice photographer.

What image sizes and paper formats have you printed?I have used Bonusprint to process 35mm film for many years, but recently used them to process a CD of about 400 digital images.
As a follow-up response to an earlier review, Bonusprint do now offer customers the choice of printing digital images on 6x4 (with a cropped image) or printing the full image on 6x4 with white borders (which I recommend) or printing the full image on reduced sized paper.

Quick, reliable response.
What is negative?The yellow on all my images was very pronounced. In most cases this simply produced a cheerful effect, but in some cases it caused the image to look too unnatural.

What is positive?I use this lab and its sister Doubleprint for 35mm. They are quick and efficient and produce excellent cds with film orders for only £1.99 extra.
I was similarly impressed with the digital service, although with 150 large (5-600kb) files each time the best way was to post them a cd. I received my prints within a week.
You can register with the website so that they tell you when they have received the order and also when they have dispatched it.
What is negative?I received my two orders in different formats, the first order had been cropped at the sides to accommodate the digital format being different to 6 x 4. The second order, a few months later, had white borders at the short ends but all the photo area was visible. This is obviously an ongoing problem whilst dealing with digital to 6 x 4 and fortunately I am not bothered which format is chosen but had I wanted all the prints uniform they wouldn't match. There should be a way of requesting 'borders or cropping' when ordering. Maybe this will happen eventually, and it probably applies to other processing labs also
