|Product name||GeForce GT 610 Synergy Edition (ZT-60601-10L)|
|GeForce type||GT 610|
Many of the graphic cards today have a built-in/onboard cooling fan.
|Fan (Air cooling)|
|Multiple GPU Support
Multiple GPU support meanse that you can use two or more display adapters in the same PC to speed up the graphics animation for gamers. NVIDIA's Scalable Link Interface (SLI) and ATI's CrossFire are two examples.
|GPU Clock Speed
A GPU, is designed specifically for performing the complex mathematical and geometric calculations that are necessary for graphics rendering. Some of the fastest GPUs have more transistors than the average CPU. A GPU produces a lot of heat, so it is usually located under a heat sink or a fan.
Random Access Memory Digital-to-Analog Converter. The part of the video card which converts digital intensity levels for RGB to analog voltages sent to monitor. A DAC can have RAM to store look-up-table (LUT) information - hence RAMDAC.
The speed of the RAMDAC (eg. 220, 250, 300, 350MHz) tells the maximum master clock rate, or video clock rate (VCLK) the image can be displayed at.
|Shader Clock||1620 MHz|
Indicates the type of interface the graphic card uses. PCI-E 2.0 gives the fastest transfer rate to the computer (2007) at 5GT/s (compared to PCI-E 1.0 at 2.5GT/s). The AGP interface is an older standard not used in new graphic cards.
|PCI-E Type||PCI-E 2.0|
|Number of Slots||1|
Indicates the memory size of the card in megabytes. More memory gives faster graphics handling and enhanced resolution.
The DDR-models are the most popular type.
|Memory Bus||64 bit|
|Memory Clock||1066 MHz|
|Max Resolution||2560x1600 pixels|
|Graphics Support||DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.2|
Short for Digital Visual Interface, a digital interface standard to convert analog signals into digital signals to accommodate both analog and digital monitors. DVI handles bandwidths in excess of 160 MHz and thus supports UXGA and HDTV.
Most graphics cards have two monitor connections. Often, one is a DVI connector, which supports LCD screens, and the other is a VGA connector, which supports CRT screens. Some graphics cards have two DVI connectors instead. But that doesn't rule out using a CRT screen; CRT screens can connect to DVI ports through an adapter.
Also known as D-Sub (HD-15).
