Summary
I have 2 iPods, both 18 months old and they suffer the same hard drive failure within 6 days of each other, I fear that this is not a coincidence and that one of Apple's flagship products is simply unfit for its designed purpose, unless its purpose is to fail a short time outside the warranty. In which case the product is great because you have to get apple to repair it and this can be done for the value of a new iPod!!! 1 mp3 player for the price of 2, if only I had realised that owning an iPod meant paying for a new one every 18 months.

- Simple to use and the good news stops here
- What are the weaknesses?
- Freezes up constantly, poor battery life, supplied with rubbish headphones, will never last for more than 18 months. Awful value for money unless you own the Apple brand name.

My guess is the only real reason you want an iPod, is because its the only one you have seen advertised and everyone has one.
Dont become yet another Pod Zombie, choose something worthwhile to spend your money on.

- What are the strengths?
- Not very many. It looks OK, and thats about it. Full Stop.
- What are the weaknesses?
- 1) 6 Hours battery life is really annoying
2) It freezes regularly
3) Battery is non-replaceable, without sending it back to apple.
4) All it can do is play mp3s, and a few pointless games. This is pretty pathetic, considering all irivers (at the same price), can listen to radio, view text, images, make voice recordings etc.
5)You can only download your music through iTunes, the tacky peice of software that, for a 19 mb installation file, looks frankly as if it was made in Flash MX. Futhermore, the songs are overpriced and there really isnt that great a selection.
6) You can only put songs for one computer on it, and only onto the ipod, not back into the computer.
7) The back easily picks up fingerprints and looks really bad when its scratched.
8) The speakers aren't very good quality, and they make a real advertisement to be robbed.
9) The white casing becomes yellowed and dirty easily.
10) The black and white screen is grainy, small, and out of date.

Summary
The best MP3 player on the market by far! The sound from the included headphones is great - although 'in-ear buds' are not my favourite type of phones - they really do have a lot of bass. If you are getting one of these for a PC beware!! You will need to purchase either a Firewire pci card, or the USB2/Firewire cable (from Apple) as the iPod only comes with a Firewire sync/charge cable. Other than that the only problem I've had is getting the thing back off my wife!!

Summary
Apple just stamped on all other IPODS and claimed its winning streak. This Ipod is truly brilliant. It has everything working its way, I am so sure this iPod will become the will of the way soon enough. If you are thinking about this product, I wouls ask you to stop thinking and just go and buy it!!

- It has 20 gb memory, big diplay screen and los of additional features. Audio quality is just too good and the MP3 also has games, voice recording and a phto wallet. Inspite of so many features this MP3 is really simple to use.

Summary
Apple iPods are definitely ruling the roost. Everywhere you look, someone has an Apple iPod! This one in particular is one of the most popular players. It has a very good audio quality. Everything sounds great when played on it. It has a neat Click Wheel button that makes controlling the player a cakewalk. It has games, as well as some optional features. It doesnt have a remote. But then why would you need a remote for something you can use and control easily with your own hands??!!

- It is one of the easiest iPods to use. Its Click Wheel control allows easy and efficient use. It has an excellent audio quality. Any music sounds near brilliant on this player. It also has some games, and an optional voice recorder and photo wallet. Plus it has quite a huge memory space!

- I dont really think it has any weaknesses
