Let me assure you all; Creative MP3 players are shockingly bad and unreliable.

I am amazed to read review after review gushing over how good the Creative MP3 is too.

I am on my 4th model having only brought my first one just 6 months ago, and my two sisters who have the same model, are both on their 3rd model.

Hmmm, that's a quality product history.

I cannot stress to anyone the importance of avoiding this brand at all costs.
I am so fed up and disgusted with Creative that I have even ceased to be angry now.
The last one I changed, as soon as I opened the new one, I was expecting a fault, and right on cue....i noticed the 'forward' button was jammed into the body of the machine unable to be used.

Creative, you are really really rubbish.

Battery life; in-between all the other faults

To list the problems I have had with all four of my 20 GB models:

1)Players continually freeze up and cannot be re-booted.
2)Players with buttons that stick due to shoddy workmanship.
3) Players that decide to literally just stop working, and go into 'recovery' mode, but still don't work.
4)Players that freeze and do a grandfather clock impression when you try and turn it back on.

Summary

Komplett are Norwegian - I have great respect for my Scandanavian neighbours. Honest and great service - hope to deal again. Best price on net by a long shot.

Buy it! Having borrowed a friends I Pod to try before I bought this Creative, I am amazed at the amount of people who get sucked in by the I Pods hype. So with that in mind....
1) I Tunes is a crap piece of software
2) When you download your music onto I tunes it loses quality
3) The I Pod is Fisher Price childrens toy quality
4) Only tunes downloaded through I Tunes will go onto an I Pod (So why not waste 79p a track on our very limited music site? how convenient)

If you want a well built reliable MP3 player that you can put your music easily onto, buy one of these! It really is that good. (Oh and www.slsknet.org - To download 'Soulseek' without doubt the best P2P filesharing program: with no Spyware in it at all)
