What Is This Guy On About?
Summary
All Apples iPods are amazing. They may be a lot of money, but you are not thinking about the style and the ease of use of these things. I had an iPod Mini which was fantastic and now I have an iPod Video BLACK 30gb.
You are SO COOL if you have an iPod, they are the design of the time. Im am a 14 year old boy and i went to Germany with my school, people were staring at me on the coach listening to my fantastic new iPod.
Basically if you want a boring, small, mp3 player then get one from Argos that can hold 60 songs. However, if you want style and attention, then have a Black (Boy) White (Girl) iPod. You get so much more for your money.

Style over Substance
Summary
Taken on its own, this is a great piece of technology. It's just that there are so many more better ones out there, that don't tie you into Apple's long-term business strategy.

I review MP3 players professionally, so lots
How long have you used the product?

- What are the strengths?
- MP3 playback quality is excellent, using AAC format usually found on iTunes
The design is amazing and beautiful, and the wheel is great once you get used to it
Video is good quality
- What are the weaknesses?
- Where do I start? I know that everyone talks about how good the iPods are, but most of the good points are true of nearly all MP3 players. OK, they have long battery life - but iRiver, Creative and especially Sony all beat the iPod. The design is like owning a Ford Focus - it was interesting for a while, but do you really want the same model your Dad owns?
The biggest downside is its incompatibility with the WMA format, that most online music stores use (except for iTunes). So, buy yourself an iPod, and you are locking yourself into a prison.
Lots of functions that are widely available, and very useful, are missing - especially FM radio and dictaphone.
