Nano for the gymn
Summary
I purchased the shuffle to use at the gym, its small and lighweight, overall I am impressed by the quality and sound and how easy it is to use. The downside is to update ia pain if you use the same itunes acccount as another iPod but want seperate songs - it is possible but tricky
Easiest way is create a new user account on your PC and have the music for each iPod under different user accounts

- What are the strengths?
- The Ipod Shuffle is my first MP3 player and I tend to find a lot of technological products hugely overengineered, thousands of functions that sound great when you buy them but are impossible to use. This product has been designed by a user non a geek in a darkened room, it just works. It is so simple that you need a few minutes to fully get the hang of it and the controls are so simple that you can operate them without looking at them - if you are running for example. After a few days I did actually take the time to read the instructions and noticed that you can download the full 35 page manual from Apple, the revalation here (for me at least) was the understanding that a lot of the functionality can be controlled through iTunes, in other words it works perfectly well anyway but if you want to do some of the more clever stuff, then this is how to do it. The service from Apple was likewise impeccable, 48 hours from placing the order to having it in my hand.
