Patapo mixar strategi, musik och action. Det innebär att utrusta och kommendera runt sina arméer. Kommendera gör man genom att trumma kombinationer i takt till musiken. Ju mer du spelar desto bättre trummor får du (dem kan ge mer order). Du får också bättre skydd, mer arméer och bättre vapen. Det är också viktigt att jaga så att trupperna orkar kriga och jaga. Grafiken är charmig. På minussidan är det enda att det kan vara lite svårt och komplicerat samt att det stundtals är störande ljud.
