It seems Siemens are compromising on build quality and selling on their name at the usual price tags common with this brand, the machine is a good machine, but by no means worth this much money - £500.00 maybe but not £1000.00

What are the strengths?

It is a good washer and does a good job, it has been very reliable and never given any trouble, it has a excellent stain system, you tell the machine the type of stain and with no pre treatment it gets on and cleans it right off, very clever, it also has a soft teardrop bubbled drum to stop any friction on clothes and treat them more gentle

excellent software.

What are the weaknesses?

The bad bits for your money: £1000.00 to buy, however the machine is incredibly loud in use and spin, the mechanical components used (ie dampers for the drums suspension) is of no greater quality than an indesit, Siemens use to use Suspa top quality dampers £45.00 each, now on a £1000.00 machine they use £7.00 dampers same as hotpoint/indesit etc, the weights in the machine are just cheap concrete and the plastics are cheap. so really what you get for your money is a glorified Hotpoint with better software and electrics, but by no mean worthy of the price tag.
