Which similar products have you used?

Summary

Loved the machine at first. I normally wash clothes as they become dirty so sometimes may be a few blouses/shirts. The machine does not allow you to wash a few items as it causes the machine to run a lot lot longer.

On contacting Whirlpool they told me that the machine works on balancing. Basically you have to have enough weight for the wash programs, which means I have to keep looking up in the booklet the wash I need for the amount of clothes. Also if you dare overfill the softener drawer the machine takes it instantly. So keep it under the line. I always overfilled my last machine but obviously I was putting in too much. Filling to the line does not seem enough softener for such a large amount of clothes but now that I have got used to the machine, it is saving me money on softener and the clothes come out smelling fine.

Obviously this is how all machines are made now so they are more efficient. Takes a little getting used to by saving up the clothes or doing a 3kg was

What are the strengths?

Brilliant for a large family. Can wash far more.

What are the weaknesses?

Need to have a full load otherwise the wash does not complete due to balancing problems with the machine. You have 3 programs which operate with 3kg if you are washing smaller loads.
