Which similar products have you used?

Bought on the strength of reviews seen on the internet and all I can say is that there seems to be a conspiracy to buy Sony tvs, the build quality is plasticy and not very stable, the freeview pictures are blocky, the quality of the hd is good but because the majority of the time you are watching sd images I should have bought a Panasonic like the last one I had.

This is an outstanding TV it out performs all others I looked at. The picture quality and colours are very good. Its HD picture which is through Freesat takes your breath away.

I would recommend this TV and at just over £800 great value

very dissapointed with this set,i expected big things from this but yet again sony has messed up,first of all the design is one of the worst i have seen,i thought it might grow on me but it didnt,when it comes to the main thing picture quality i was left underwhelmed,sd is average because the set has not got 100hz,been a football lover the motion judder was typical of an lcd,blu ray is good,blacks are good but still not in the same league as the two big boys when it comes to flat panel sets pioneer and panasonic,gaming is ok but it can look cartoony at times as the colours are not as natural as plasmas,i have now sold the set and brought a panasonic 42pz85 and all i can say is wow!!!,big difference in pq quality,only die hard sony fanboys would buy the w4000 i suppose.

Summary

Ive seen many lcds from many manufacturers and, i own a Sony s3000 myself, i waited for some time to get that perfect TV, i skipped the w3000 as it had few issues, now that i have this TV I'm blown away with its performance, the blacks can easily rival most off the plasma in the market, there is no backlight bleed, no clouding issues like many other sets on the market. The SD picture quality is good nice vibrant colours, good detail. blue ray will blow you away picture is so detailed and sharp, whites are just as good as the blacks, call off duty 4 on the ps3 is brilliant no motion blur to report. overall this set is probably the best LCD on the market and it is under £1000, i think that bravia engine 2 is a big improvement over the old engine. The only TV i would consider 2nd place would be the Panasonic LZ85 which is was considering to buy.

Rigtigt lækkert TV som har næsten alt hvad man kan ønske sig i en fladskærm. Designet er meget flottere i virkeligheden end på billederne, kvaliteten er i top, kniv skarpt billede, god lyd og let at bruge. Farverne står flot og det er lækkert at se Blu-ray film på det. Det eneste TV'et mangler er 100 Hz, men det savner jeg ikke da bevægelse kører hurtigt og perfekt over skærmen. TV'et har DVB-C tuner, hvilket er en god ting hvis man ønsker at slippe for f.eks. en Zaptor boks, som er langsommere til kanalskift og til tider er ustabil. Indtil videre er dette TV det bedste jeg har set i butikkerne og prisen er god.
