Which similar products have you used?
Sharp LC-32P50E.
Summary
Purchased the Sharp Aquos LC-32P50E on 30/12/05 from Comet, Fosse Park, Leicester and till today had been very happy with the television. Several of my friends and relatives also commented on it with regards to style,picture and sound.
Today I called Sharp and spoke to a customer advisor as to a problem I had with one to three red lines appearing on the far left of the screen which appeared when first turning on the set from cold and when previously viewed. The advisor said that it seemed to be a screen fault and advised that it may be more costly to fix than replace but to contact the retailer,Comet. The set isn't even four years old.
I contacted yourselves and was advised would cost over three hundred and eighty pounds to fix and would give me twenty percent off parts. I could buy a new Sony, 1080p 32" for slightly more so why would I bother when your not even offering me twenty percent of that? Also why would I bother to recommend Comet after this faulty product? - Picture at first was good. Overall design of the tv was eye-catching.
- What are the weaknesses?
- One HDMI port. When changing extensions sound has to be turned up constantly.
