Summary

The product (in it's limited use with the supplied out of date database) seems to be good quality, well designed and does what it says on the box!.. However the true colours always show when a problem occurs... Sadly neither Dabs or Tom Tom have the slightest interest in the Customer after the sale is made!.. Had it been my Company I would have despatched the correct part IMMEDIATELY and then contacted the Customer by telephone to ensure that the problem was solved.. But NOTHING!!.. If I am happy with a product or service I tell my friends and aquaintences... If I am unhappy with a product or service, I TELL THE WHOLE WORLD!.. John :O(

What are the weaknesses?

This Company Does NOT have a Telephone number available to it's Customers??.. I purchased a Tom Tom Go 540 Live from them. It was delivered on 13th June sealed in the manufacturers packaging.. When I opened it I discovered that it contained an incorrect Home Docking Unit, essential for connection to and updating via my computer!.. I contaceted both Dabs & Tom Tom IMMEDIATELY via email (in each case an auto acknowledgement was received).. since then NOTHING!!.. it is now Monday 5:15pm on 22nd June and I still await a response.. I will now retutn the unit to Dabs and purchase a Different Make of Sat Nav from a Supplier who is interested in their Customers..
