Which similar products have you used?

I have used many other toasters, but this was the first 4 slice toaster I'd ever used.

Summary

Although this toaster looks great, it has been a very dissapointing toaster. Now one side has stopped functioning after 7 months I'm after a new one and will not buy another Delonghi after this dissapointment.

What are the strengths?

Looks Great. Easy to operate. Good functions: frozen bread, high lift, adjustable thickness.

What are the weaknesses?

Very uneven toasting - every side of the toast was always toated to a different brownness - often one or two sides were near to burnt yet the other sides were hardly done at all. Once toaster has done one lot of toast if you use it again you have to lower the browning otherwise next time it burns. One side after 7 months has stopped working altogether.
