Summary

This Sony DCR-DVD105E is excellent!!! It is WELL WORTH THE MONEY ! It is a must buy for anyone looking for a good Handycam.

How long have you used the product?

Less than 1 month

What are the strengths?: The LCD touch screen of the camera is a plus point. The specialised stock lens of the camera is simply marvalous...and the anti shake feature in the cam is outstanding.

What are the weaknesses?: None that I know of.

What are the strengths?: some of its great features includethe dual RW compatibility (DVD-RW / +RW), the 20x Carl Zeiss Optical Zoom plus 800x Digital Zoom, the 2.5 Inch Bright LCD Monitor, the Carl Zeiss® Vario Tessar 12x Optical Zoom plus 800x Digital Zoom. it also has Super SteadyShot and Super NightShot Plus. i love the touch panel with active menu for an easy access to functionality and its 4 Picture Effects and 2 Digital picture effects.

What are the weaknesses?: it has no Memory or Memory card slot.

A Good Cam

Summary

I was very excited about buying a camcorder. Now that i have been using it for a week or two, the excitement doesnt seem to have lessened! I am very happy with this cam. It looks good and is easy to use. It is quite compact and not too heavy. It has some neat features. All in all, a pretty good cam.

How long have you used the product?

What are the strengths?: This camcorder has a really great 20 x optical zoom. It also has an image stabalizer - which is always an advantage. One of its best features is its Super NightShot Plus Infrared System which allows you to captures natural-looking video in low light. It also has a great 2.5 inch touch-panel LCD display, that is a Swivel Screen, and rotates, all the while allowing you achieve many different viewing angles.

What are the weaknesses?: I havent used it long enough to actually figure out if it has any faults or not.
