Summary

If you enjoy loud music, but only have a cheap set of standard ipod headphones, then grab some spare cash and get yourself a set of these bad boys! The deep bass levels and the clarity will give you the impression that you have speakers attached to the side of your head. I'm listening through them now and the text on the screen is vibrating slighty with every beat. :-)

In my own opinion, there are 3 types of headphones:
1. Cheap and easy (5-30 quid) 2. Music lovers (70-300 quid) 3. Professionals and Sennheiser addicts(400+ quid)

Beats by Dr. Dre are definitely a superb set of 'Music Lover' headphones and unless you have the equipment for anything more expensive, then I suggest you stick with these. ;-)

What are the strengths?

Great Bass, Great Clarity and Vocal separation.
Un-Tangleable 'Monster' wire.
Durable, inc. portable protective case.

What are the weaknesses?

Some people may find the rubber ear-inserts to be uncomfortable/unsecure.
The price should be reduced by 25%
A bit of a pain to change the ear-inserts, especially as there is no indication as to which shape gives you better bass/treble/comfort.
