| Nokia 8800 review. | |||
| The style of the phone and the slip up and shut down function. The pulsating charger looks well to. | |||
| Battery life is terrible, the phone shows a full battery on the screen but when a call is recieved the phone shuts down stating no battery life. To date i have 4 batteries for this phone constantly charging them one after another. | |||
| This phone looks great but it does'nt function like a normal phone. When bought new you get 2 batteries! That says it all, i should not have bought this phone its not worth the price tag. Its just to flash around but its not practical as a phone for daily use.
I have left it into shops to fix as i thought there was something wrong with it, only to find this is normal for this model. I can't even get a different and stronger battery for this phone, im stuck with a 700 euro phone that does'nt work as a normal one. |

| Just about ok | |||
| The looks are good no doubt and it attracts a lot of attention too with its design.The color screen is quite sharp.Its a good thing they included the fm.The pictures clicked are good in quality. | |||
| Battery life is awful and the keypad is also cramped.Uncomfortable to use. | |||
| Its really heavy to carry although its design is good.But is has no space for memory expansion and the pricing is a little high.Not a phone to buy if you are looking at a feature packed phone. | |||

| Hey gorgeous!! | |||
| It looks good, it looks good and it looks good. There that makes it three strengths, straight off. Jokes apart, the 8800 has been given a great finshing stroke from the creator. It has a tri band facility my last phone dint give, it has email access, doubles as a modem. MP3 player, FM, camera, camcorder and even great games!! | |||
| I dont understand what people are complaining so much about. Yes it is slightly expensive, but we knew that before we paid right.?? The battery life is not not exceptional, but passable. | |||
| Its a decent buy. Works well and looks better, It looks sleek and sexy and has a great fan following within my friends. Its a great release from Nokia. Go for it!! | |||

| looks can be deceptive | |||
| the design is beautiful no doubt. very attractive and when you speak on it, it does manage to impress a lot of people around. the black and silver finish makes it look like the technology has been put to right use. | |||
| if you are one of those people who dont get a chance to charge your phone often i beg you not to buy this phone. it is such a disappointment from nokia. | |||
| its been less than a month and i am already wishing i hadnt spent so much money on a phone which is making me so unhappy with its performance.the features are alright but there is nothing extraordinary which i had expected judging it from its looks.its a really bad investment to make. | |||

| Decent Enough | |||
| It looks extremely sexy. It is very eye catching. It has Bluetooth. It also has a FM tuner. Plus it has a speaker phone. Not to forget, intergrated camera and video recorder. | |||
| It is an expensive phone. And also quite heavy. It has a poor battery life. Another weakness is that the screen and case smudge/scratch easily. Also, the keypad is a little too cramped | |||
| It looks good, and has its good points. But it also has some very prominent bad points. These tend to spoil the appeal of the phone. The short battery life is a tad bit too irritating. Its good enough, but doesnt live up to the Nokia name. A decent phone, but it could have done better. Its not all that bad | |||

| Flashy and nothing else | |||
| Look superb and impress a lot of my friends | |||
| 8801 works only in US and Canada and the 8800 works world wide but not supported in US. Battery life is the worst I ever seen on a phone | |||
| Ive own the 8801 for a month and it a big deception to find out that my $700 Nokia wont work in Asia or Europe because it does not have the 900 band. I call Nokia to express my concern and they told me that I can buy the 8800 witch will work any where but it is not supported or warranty in US. I finally decided to return it and buy a Motorola Razr v3 even though Ive always owned a Nokia till now. I think the 8801 or 8800 is a big flashy joke that has drove me away from the brand.
I would advise nobody to buy this phone unless you need to let your neighbors know that you own a $700 phone. But if I was you neighbor, I know that you are dump enough to pay for a 5 stars hotel room with no bed in it for you to sleep on. I had waited for that phone a while but what a deception. |
