| Little 'BIG' beauty | |||
| Excellent if you want to take tons of digital photos on holiday because you can download the photos taken with a simple USB connection to the AV700 and then start over with your compact flash/secure digital card.
Recording TV and watching on the go - you can record in widescreen! Quality quite good though not as good as DVD quality, funnily enough Photo viewer - I've seen other reviews saying that photos don't show that well - they are not crystal clear but the purpose of this gadget is more as a storage device than something to show to real critics. Can be used as a back up 'hard disk' but unfortunately, for example, Word documents CANNOT be viewed on the Archos Easy to set up initially with the TV Mine came with an extra battery which is a MUST - bought from QVC Will be the envy of your friends and colleagues when you pull this wopper out! |

| Screen quality - OK but not crystal clear with photos
The buttons are rather curiously placed but you get used to it - a bit like one of the gaming machines (sorry, don't know one from another - ?? Gameboy!) A little big, cumbersome and heavy to be truly 'portable' |

| Great gadget for those on the go. Record all your favourite, I dunno, soaps (!), sport, films, DVDs etc.. whatever and watch whereever you are (comes with in-ear headphones). Great to show family/friends photos and indeed download photos to it so you don't run out of memory on your camera card etc... Can easily be viewed by two, say, for example, on an aeroplane, which will be great for me in January - long trip to Mauritius so a 12 hour flight!!!! Perhaps a little overpriced but then when you think of what this can do (pretty much everything a laptop does, bar writing and reading documents etc....), then it's not that bad. Oh, and it also plays MP3s and the sound quality is good - on a par with the Apple iPod. | |||
