| So cheap you have to buy one | |||
| Very cheap (Dixons £99 including 28-80 lens).
Comes with a nice lens. Surprisingly well built. Takes brilliant photos. |

| It's not digital! | |||
| Having converted to digital a couple of years ago I never thought I'd buy another film camera. But, having worked out how much I spend on printing 'snapshots' on my inkjet printer, I saw this SLR in Dixons for £99 including lens and bought it on an impulse. Top quality film is now available on ebay for silly prices and processing can be found very cheaply.
This camera is very well built for it's price. Looking at it in the shop it looked plasticky, but it's actually very solid - certainly as well-built as my EOS300D. It has just about every mode you need and with the usual Canon accurate metering exposures are always spot-on. Using a film camera again forces you to think about each picture a little more carefully - you can't just take 200 shots and pick the 10 or so that come out well like you can with digital, but for me that has brought back a little extra pleasure to my snapshot taking. I just regret selling all my film SLR kit when I 'converted' to digital. I still love digital cameras and have several, but the two can live happily side-by-side. |
