| I have read the below reviews and must say that people usually only review a product when something goes wrong. I was recommended this machine by friends which have good experiences. I have not been let down either. I even talked to the online company about this machine before buying and Whitebox say they rarely have any issues with this machine. I think that for the money I paid the value is great. The 1600 spin really makes a difference for drying time and cuts down on my energy bill. When I am in a hurry the time saver divice is great as well. The spin can be a bit noisey but I really don't mind. I would recommend this machine to my family and friends as well.

| This is a very nice looking washer/dryer which is very nice when it works. | |||

| Although it looks good and appears to do a good job when it works I have found it has a habbit of breaking with error code F-13 which will result in a £90 repair even if the engineer does not replace any parts.
If you're after a machine you can depend this is not the one. If however you want something with high running (repair) costs which looks nice then this is a great way to waste money. |

| Previously had a well used and loved Zanussi, went to a good electrical retailer who didn't have any Zanussi's in so I opted for this model of washer/dryer. I wish I'd read these reviews before buying. | |||

| Lovely looking machine, with pretty lights and good energy ratings! Thats all its good points. Oh sorry it has a child lock facility which stops those little fingers from changing your wash programme or stopping it. | |||
| Where do I start? The dryer stopped working after one use, and then it didn't dry properly. The machine was really light and was easily moved by my 20 month old child! It has a 'new' technology filter which self flushes apparently, but I would rather have one I can clean out, and how does it flush out pennies and other small items children leave in pockets? I had a really bad experience with indesit a few years ago and they are now the same company (indesit and hotpoint), hoover as well apparently. I wish I had knownn this as I wouldn't have touched it with a barge pole. Shocking that a brand new product stops working after one week! It has been returned and a replacement item has been purchased, which is not a HOTPOINT! | |||
| Sales rep in the store said that they were not reliable and had alot of problems with these. He recommended German built washer/dryers for functions and relaibility. Where was he when we purchased this in the first place?

| Have had 2 Hotpoint washer dryers and both have been written off. The first after 12 months and the second after 4 weeks!!!! Various problems include, machine won't switch off, grinding noises, washing programs won't work other than the quick wash (if you are lucky). Lost count the amount of times engineers have been out to replace circuit boards and also with the famous last words of "there could be something stuck in the pump", only for them to stand there and scratch there heads as they haven't a clue whats wrong with it!!!! When buying my 3rd machine from a well known electrical goods retailer, the assistant said that she would in never recommend Hotpoint to anyone as they have an extremely bad realiability record! Be warned!! | |||

| Well for a laundry appliance I suppose it looks OK. THAT'S IT! It's one and only good point. To be fair it washes OK on the rare occasions it works. | |||

| I have had two problems with this machine since I bought it last year. Hotpoint are ineffective at carrying out repairs. I have advised them that I want a refund but they are unwilling to do this because I did not notice that there had been a fault within twenty eight days of buying the product - due to the fact that I normally run my washing machine while I am at work. I have been advised by a number of other people with Hotpoint washing machines that they have had similar catalouges of problems. | |||
