Supposed to be "Frost Free" - it isn't |
| Summary |
We bought this fridge freezer and within one week the supposed "Frost Free" freezer had covered all of our food packages in a deep crust of ice.
The freezer would fill up with so much ice that the fan at the back would chop into it making a very loud whirring noise, usually waking us up in the middle of the night.
We had 3 engineers come out to review the situation (having to take days off work for this as they wouldn't come out on a weekend) and all said "well, it shouldn't be doing that" and offered no real solution.
After fighting with Hoover to get it taken away the guys picking it up said "oh, another one of these" as they have been picking up LOADS of them, even saying they can deliver one on a Friday and then be picking it up on the Monday!
There is obviously a fault with this model but maybe Hoover don't want to admit it?
Avoid at all costs!
