| Price, this was cheap. Condenser necessary as I don't have anywhere to vent in my new home | |||
| Noise, this was louder than I expected. Made it difficult to use in the evenings when kids are sleeping. Not much use to a working mum. Had to do all my washing at weekend.
This worked well for the first year then started playing up. I regularly need to remove the condenser and stick a towel in to dry up all the water that collects in there. At the moment I can only use it for "finishing off" clothes that have been dried on the radiators. |

| Simply it doesn't do the job, it takes hours to get things dry and no way can it cope with the loads it says it can

| Not built to last! | |||
| The drier worked very well for the first 6 months (based on a couple of loads of washing a week) however after this time it did start to take longer to dry the clothes despite being cleaning the filters regularly. The sound level is acceptable and the section which gathers the water is easy to empty. | |||
| The drier 'died' after exactly 1 year and 2 weeks... 2 weeks after the waranty expired. Hotpoint advised me that as I had not taken out an extended waranty there was nothing they could do. If you only require the drier to last a year and are happy with this then I would recommend it. If however you are looking for something to last a little longer then I would avoid this like the plague! | |||
| Very good in the short term however very dissapointing quality as it only managed to make it just past the waranty period of a year. It may be worth buying a different model if you have to factor in the price of additional waranty to avoid a repeat of my experience. | |||

| I have owned this Hotpoint tumble dryer for just over a year and it has always been very noisy indeed, due to the drum scraping parts of the metal bodywork. It was inspected by a Hotpoint engineer initially who managed to keep it quiet for a short while, but then the noise resumed again and it has been like it ever since. After the 12 month warranty had expired by 9 days, the CTD00 packed up altogether. A telephone call to the Hotpoint Customer Service resulted in a request from them for £89 'callout' . Abysmal. A follow up letter resulted in the same attitude, which is not what you would expect from a company that prides itself on so called quality products. The CTD00 will be in the local landfill less than 14 months from new. | |||

| This is a good priced drier and is very good.
Easy to use and simple to empty the condensed water. I have had no problems with condensation in the utility room where it is located. |

| Very bad condensation...I bought this machine because I thought it would save on having a pipe in the wall but the walls are becoming damp. | |||
| It's disgusting to have this machine on the market. Fortunately I have a utlity room so I am able to dry the clothes in another room other than the kitchen but everywhere gets steamed up and to be honest I am very disappointed | |||
