Total Connectivity |
| What are the strengths? |
Allows Internet connectivity to areas not covered by wireless Internet router, without miles of wiring. Very easy to install: plug one little gadget thingy into a power socket and hard-wire (supplied) to router (about as complex as plugging-in a kettle). Go to vicinity of where Internet connectivity is required, plug in other little gadget thingy. Job done, log in. |
| What are the weaknesses? |
Wife can now shop online while watching Emerdale Street and Coronation Farm, while I go to the pub; this a weakness?! |
| Summary |
As said earlier connectivity was very easy, for me. I already had wireless connectivity set-up through my router. So if you haven't set-up your laptop/PC for wireless connection life may be slightly more complex. In addition, the two little gadgets (they're each about the size of a plug-in air-freshner) apparently communicate with each other through the electrical wiring, so if your wiring is out of the ordinary this may also cause a problem or five. |
