| Canon S3 IS | |||
| If you like the traditional SLR shape and feel to it then this is just as good but a lot smaller & lighter. The zoom function is far better than any compact camera that I have come across. It is feature full and definately designed for the semi-pro sector. Some of the features are amazing and there's to many to list. I do particularly like the recording facility I can get about an hour of good quality recording on a 2gb SD card. | |||
| The main thing I found very disappointing is that the whole camera is Gun metal grey which is fine, apart from the screen back cover. when the filp screen is in the closed position the cover is black and not the gun metal grey like the rest of the camera. I know this doesn't effect functionality but it's not at all pleasing to the eye.
It is also a crying shame that it does not come with much accessories like a camera case and nor does it come with a good sized SD card. |

| Considering all the above I would perhaps gone for a Canon s80. Nevertheless it is still and good camera with canon's legendary picture quality. | |||

| S3 IS black is good | |||
| I like the shape size and the black color a lot.You have tons of photographic control and an advanced movie mode.Image processor reduces noise to a large extent.Whether you are just starting out or are quite advanced you will like this camera for sure. | |||
| A very disappointingly small lcd screen.It might just seem a little expensive. | |||
| An absence of video recording might seem a turn off if you are used to using a camera which has video recording in it but the picture quality is really good. I like the camera a lot and i think it delivers all its features with great aplomb. | |||

| A camera for everyone | |||
| Die hard photo enthusiasts and amateurs alike will find this camera to suit their needs perfectly. Whether the camera is engaged in quality videography or still photography it is easy to use anytime. Its image processor dramatically reduces "noise" for better image quality . | |||
| A little expensive but totally worth for its benefits

| The image stabilizer is a boon for photographers will shaky hands. It works well in low light conditions and offers a high quality dual element close up lens. I am very happy that i bought this camera and anybody looking out for a good camera that is user friendly should buy this. | |||

| The camera is good one, so to speak of. It offers a wide range for shooting images, which is a new feature. Also included in this offer is the sports option, which gives high quality precision for moving objects. It has a marginally big LCD and a marginally big viewfinder, which makes taking photographs fun. Also the video shooting option has a lot of other functions to make the video shooting easier and better. Since it is a Canon, I had expected it to be a little heavy on the pocket, but again, the product is worth its price. | |||

| An affordable SLR!! | |||
| Since I had decided to invest in an SLR, I was ready to pay big bucks, but this camera is surprisingly affordable and also met my expectations of giving amazingly well turned out pictures.

| Somehow it over-exposes the film sometimes, also it’s a little too big to grasp. No backlight for the LCD Display.

| The camera needs to be lugged around, other than that, it was easy using it. A pleasure actually. The LCD did not have backlight, which was a little irksome. Also for some reason the camera catches a little extra light sometimes which over exposes the film. I had gotten used to having video recording in my camera but this one did not have it. But the picture quality made up for everything else.
