DVD-Audio is not supported
The unit is very capable:- making it less than user friendly for somebody who just wants to record and play TV programmes. It takes effort to get your head around the UI, but it is amply rewarded by the performance and facilities offered. |
| Summary |
My experience of the DMR-EX77 has only been via the RGB enabled SCART socket (not HDMI). This unit delivers everything promised. The performance, when using a Virgin cable STB is brilliant on HDD or DVD-R at 4 hours a disc. A nice touch is the remote’s ability to also control the basic functions of any make of TV. The CD-Audio performance is also good and detailed, one less box under the TV. |
