Laptops Direct - Information

I am very happy with my purchase and would be very happy to buy again I have already recommended the web site to friends and i may be purchasing an other laptop soon and i will check laptops direct first

Order and delivery experience were fine, but I ordered the extra 2GB RAM upgrade and the laptop would not start as it asked for Windows Vista CD which was not supplied in the box (would not start due to extra RAM had not been configured). After sales/support service was awful, said they would ring back but never did, I always had to call them to chase up. In the end was told to send laptop back, and was told it could take up to 10 days to get a replacement which is not good enough.

Odered laptop but had to cancel hour later as I was not on electoral register and they wouldnt supply goods, to cut long story short they still took £386 out of my card three days later. I am still waiting for refund.Looks like ill have to go through disputed payment with my card provider to get money back as they just keep fobing me off with excuses on the phone and wont reply to emails. Ive been buying from the internet for years and this has to be the worst company ive ever dealt with. Avoid at all costs ..You have been warned .Do a search on the internet about them I wish I had before ordering. a bain

Was very happy with then new laptop & how quick item was sent out. Got a little caught out with the free laptop bag & mouse as i followed all the foot steps and it turned up with no bag & mouse, called same day & then was charged another £5.88 for bag & mouse to be sent out, items where with me next morning which was super quick. Only to check website now the advert has been slightly changed so the bag & mouse is stated on the main advert, i must of been one off very many that got caught out. As in my advert it was in big red writing at top of advert i could only assume it would be attached as clearly stated. Other then that little slip up i was very impressed with the speed, price and commuinication of laptops direct.

I am really very happy in purchasing Acer 5720 Laptop from laptopsdirect.co.uk I got good experience in comparing the products with the options given by pricerunner. Once again thankq very much for all the valuble information provided in the site.

Good website and extremely good prices. Helpful staff on all occasions and swift service provided. In general would certainly recommend to others. Mildly annoying use of group pick-up when trying to call and requiring a specific person/department worked my way through three people to get there. Not impressed with the attempted sale of the pre-inspection check. Largely services that you might expect as standard and the risks implied would certainly not impact on any standard cooling off period. Very unimpressed with the service offered by financial company worked with. Incredibly difficult to obtain, lengthy and unnecessarily complex system at the end of it. Without a doubt were I to have needed it I would have gone elsewhere.

The best on line purchase I have ever made. Fast service..excellent product. No worries buying from Laptops direct. I will definately shop with them again.
