Overall rating Comments The product description was clear and accurate. The price was highly competitive compared with other internet sites and the bundle (including glass TV stand) was especially good value for money. Delivery was very fast indeed; packaging was secure and the product arrived in immaculate condition. An excellent company with which to trade and a perfect internet transaction.

Overall rating Comments I found the product I wanted at a very competitive price from Martin Dawes. Phoned to check availability, customer service was efficient and friendly. Website quotes delivery within 4 working days which I was more than happy with but the item was delivered within 2! Excellent all round service. I will certainly use Martin Dawes and am happy to recommend to others.

Overall rating Comments Good price, polite response to a not-very-important query I raised, and delivered on time -- all very good. I'd have preferred the product to be sent off straight away, whereas I was sent a day's advance notice to give me the opportunity to alter the delivery date; but if I'd had to make special arrangements for the box to be signed for, this small delay would have been appreciated.

Overall rating Comments I have purchased many items from the net but Martin Dawes has proved to be one of the best so far. My phone calls (free) were answered quickly and efficiently, the goods arrived on time as promised and well packed.I have not had chance to actually try the Humax yet but see no reason why everything should not be satisfactory

Saying this, when I did call the customer services was outstanding. Would sut like some automated information on estimated delivery instead of having to call.

Overall rating Comments Bought product from MD on-line because of price and the fact that it was considerably cheaper than the Shrewsbury MD shop! Web site was difficult to navigate because I had wanted to collect the item from the shop. In the end couldn't fathom out how to do this so I paid up the £7 for delivery. It would have been helpful when placing the order to have been given a rough indication of likely delivery date but the gentleman I spoke to at customer support was very helpful and I appreciated the emails to tell me my goods were on their way and how I could track them. I would have no hesitation in using Martin Dawes again.

Overall rating Comments Excellent, reliable service at just about the cheapest price around. You can't really go wrong. I'm loving my new Bravia LCD which arrived a few days after I ordered it. The only thing I will say is that I phoned them to change the delivery date which they said was fine but it still arrived on the original day they allocated. Still wasn't really a problem and I got my tv earlier!

Overall rating Comments Purchased a Samsung 46" LCD television at a great price. The TV was delivered within 72 hours of the order being placed and in perfect condition. I recieved emails to inform me on which day the TV would arrive and I recieved a prompt reply to a query I had. All in all a great 'buying experience'.

Overall rating Comments I was satisfied with every state of the process except... I was notified of the delivery date with less than 48 hours notice. I was unable to stop the proposed delivery even though I notified in the mortning of the preceding day. I was not able to prevent this wasted delivery attempt NOR TO ARRANGE AN ALTERNATIVE TIME at this stage. I was told to wait for a card from the failed delivery and then phone to rearrange. In fact the telephone number on the card had been stamped over with another telephone number and was not readable. it was pure luck that someone ( not me) was in the house when the delivery happened the next day. Why can't delivery be stopped with more than 24 hours notice? Why can't it be rearranged in a single phone call?

Overall rating Comments I was advised of Thursday delivery, wife took day off work. Didn't arrive. Wife p*ssed off - thanks for that! Tried to deliver friday but no one at home! I had to drive 38 mile round trip to Livingston on Saturday morning to pick it up! So much for free delivery. PS Courier info says Edinburgh branch, address is Livingston and the telephone number is Glasgow - confusing!!!

Overall rating Comments They didn't show any problems with stock availability on the website. "a member of staff will call you soon to arrange collection" Soon was 3 or 4 days. The product wasn't available for another 8 days after that, yet my card was charged on day 1. Poor.

I bought from Martin Dawes after reading a recommendation on Amazon and also that Hughes Direct, who I had bought from when I lived in Edinburgh, said thay would not deliver to my address in Caithness. A position I find difficult to understand. There was a problem with the carrier in that he couldn't find my address at first, so it might be an idea to provide them with a contact number as some other suppliers do. All in all though ***** rating.

Overall rating Comments Product was delivered with a mounting kit missing. When I informed Martin Dawes, they promptly shipped me a new product in exchange for the incomplete product. Excellent response, which has cooled my initial annoyance. The new product is working well.

Overall rating Comments Great price and service. The postive reviews were the final reason I chose MD rather than go to someone unknown who may have been a bit cheaper. Only negatives are that the delivery took longer than I expected and it's a shame the courier company doesn't even guarantee a.m. or p.m. for the delivery - the delivery driver was very helpful and friendly though.
