First unit was badly damaged during transport hence delivery was refused and sent back. Replacement delivery promised for 2 weeks time.
When nothing had arrived on the promised date, rang them only to be told that they had no stock. No communication, no explanation!
Now 1 week on I am still fighting to get a refund. Unbelievable!!
Having now wasted 2 days off work because of these people, a 5% saving on a £200 item is not worth it. I recommend you go elsewhere.

I was in the market for a new LCD tv and noticed Empire had some great package deals on, settled for a Sony package. I called in to place my order to double check they had stock (I am a little dubious to stock levels on all web sites-I always call to check)
Everything was in stock, placed my order there and then and now have it set up in my living room!
Would highly reccommend

The web site was very helpful but i needed a few more questions answering so i called in on the sales telephone number. The sales assistant was very helpful and she had good knowledge of the products i was looking at.
I placed my order over the telephone and delivery was booked, My order is being delivered tomorrow and i have just had a text message to advise me of a 4 hour window of delivery.

Empire werent the cheapest on the Sony LCD i was looking at but the edxtra membership giving you a 3 year guarantee meant that they had the best deal for me. A competitor was going to charge me an extra £100 for the same tv and a 3 year cover.
Both the ordering and delivery services were excellent.

Website said it would be delivered in 7-10 days and they had some in stock. After ordering they told me that they didn't currently have any in stock but would be expecting some within 1-2 weeks. The item finally arrived today nearly 2 months later.
After the first email they never took the initiative to call me, I only found out what was happing when i contacted them, despite the email saying that I would be kept updated with the progress of the order.
And just to annoy me more, when it did arrive they sent it to the wrong address. I had asked it to be sent to my place of work, rather than home but they chose to ignore this and sent it to my home address anyway.

I ordered a laptop online on Monday evening and i rcvd a tt the following day stating it would be delivered sometime on wednesday. They didn't stress a time so i called 'em and they changed the delivery to my work address. It arrived at 11am on wednesday. My work colleague was so impressed he cancelled his order with pc world and got the same fantastic deal with empire direct.

ordered washer from them online because my old one blew up. it arrived 2 days after ordering and for a tenner the drivers took my old one away. really happy with service.

The Sales Order team were brilliant, the pleasent advisor confirmed stock for the camera that i needed and said i could have it next day if i wanted to place the order. Just what was needed as it was a present for my sister who was leaving for Africa a few days later.

Empire were brilliant, my fridge freezer packed in about 8 days before Christmas, even with the Christmas rush Empire managed to get me my new one delivered before Christmas.

I placed my order over the phone for my oven and hob package, delivered was arranged and Ashley told me i would recieve a text message the day before delivery from the courier with a 4 hour delivery window, this all happened and recieved my delivery stress free!
Glad to see Empire succeed where so many other companies fail!
