CommentsThere was a problem paying with an American Express Card which left us unsure if the transaction had gone through - it had not. The re-order was o.k., but the message when one has placed an order and the follow up email are not very friendly. Certainly not one of the best e-commerce sites I have used. The delivery confirmation phone call is a nice touch.

I’ve ordered from Dixons online and delivery was fantastic, they phoned to confirm delivery day, then the day before to confirm delivery time. On the day the driver phoned to confirm that he was on route and expected delivery time.

CommentsBefore ordering I telephoned and was assured the item (37" sony tv)was in stock and would be delivered in 3 working days. I therefore ordered online on the same day - 14 March. 2 days before delivery was due (19 March)I rang and was informed it would be a day late (20 March). The day before it was due I rang again only to be informed that they were still awaiting stocks - therefore I had been conned into ordering by being told a lie on the telephone (ie it was in stock when it wasn't). I emailed them explaining my unhappiness but never got a reply. After a lot of trouble ie it was going to be delivered on Easter weekend when I had already informed them I was away and then they refused to deliver to another address,they were going to deliver on 25 March.However the day it was due to be delivered the van allegedly 'broke down' I finally received the tv on 26 March - 7 days after I was originally informed it would be here!!!!

I would never recommend Digital Emopire Online to anyone - in fact I would actively discourage them - they lie on the phone, do not reply to emails of complaint and don't deliver on time. They are a shambles and the worst online retailer I have ever had the misfortune to use.

CommentsAlready communicated to the Company. The delivery driver did not have a contact phone number for the purchaser and the website did not have a field for phone number at delivery address! These 2 combined to slow delivery by 3 days (Friday when Tuesday was promised) but did follow up my emailed comments the same afternoon to check the detailsof what was missing. So full marks for that response!

CommentsExcellent prices on an informative website with easy navigation. Online order tracking not kept updated. When I telephoned to enquire about my order status they needed far more than just my order number and confirmation of identity. However, with a good choice at low prices, and fairly quick delivery, overall a good place to shop.

CommentsVery impressed at both the competitive price and the speed of delivery. I only wish setting up the equipment and linking it in to my TV was as simple! Manuals that stretch to 150 pages do my head in! Thanks again for the great service.

CommentsVery disappointed that the item was unavailable and that I wasn't told until I chased up the order. A bit of common courtesy would have kept my service/custom, but I feel let down by not being kept informed.

CommentsPrice v. competitive. No confirmation of delivery until I chased then given 3 different dates for delivery. Wouldn't leave somewhere safe. Why do we have to show ID? No other Companies do this.
