I had my doubts about the reliabiity and level of service from any company selling a product that was so far below high-street prices (a £1099 LCD TV at £743...) but Beyond Television did a first-rate job. Customer service on the phone to check a couple of points out before I made the purchase was friendly and helpful (she didn't know the answers but went and got them speedily).
Ordering was a breeze.
I had concerns over the delivery as CityLink have trouble finding my address. E-mailed Beyond Television's customer services with my concerns and they replied that they had passed it all on to CityLink's head office who had promised to do their best.
Place the order on a thursday evening and it arrived promptly on the Saturday (worth the extra few quid for the Saturday delivery). I would certainly look at using them again to buy from. |

| Overall rating | | | Comments | An informative message stating there to be problems with the payment system would have saved a lot of time and stress for customers and customer service representatives alike. It was only the service failing to progress my order that gave any indication to there being problems.
No response was received to messages left initially, although I was eventually called and advised that there were 50 of the TVs I wanted in stock and that I would be called when the service resumed, which did not happen.
When I found out by chance that I was able to place an order the TV came up as being out of stock.
Customer support did improve over the coming week when stock was replenished and I was assured that one would be reserved for me. The TV was offered up at a cheaper price and then came down substantially in price. As I was awaiting delivery, and after calling Beyond Television again, I was advised that I would be credited the difference in price, however the email I received on the matter neither contained details on how much I had been credited and no new invoice has been received despite requesting one.
Delivery was spot on although I couldn't track my order. It was delivered around 10:30 by a very polite and helpful courier.
Beyond Television was recommended to me but my experience has left me undecided as to whether I would recommend them myself. A few simple things could have made the difference and changed my experience to a very positive one.

On top of which the price for my purchase was the lowest I found after several days of ploughing through the internet. It doesn't get any better than that! The only minor gripe I had was that I couldn't get the delivery tracker to work. As it happened it didn't matter as delivery was made on the day I requested. I can't speak for the after sales service as I haven't had to use it, and that for me is another result. I have already put the word around the office and would have no hesitation in recommending Beyond Television to anyone needing a TV (especially if you live in Northern Ireland). |

The price was not the cheapest quoted on-line for the item I selected (a Pioneer DVD Recorder), but it was competitive with the cheapest and well below the dearest. Overall it was the positive feel of the web-site which persuaded me to buy, and I have no regrets about doing so. |
