Summary	What an arse-over tit company!! I understand the need for checking your details to stop fraud, but when your billing address matches your delivery address, why the need to then contact that address to confirm that individual is resident there. This was the most painful buying experience I've had so far, and I buy a tonnes of items online. To further enrage me, they then kept declining my card blaming my credit card company. I've since ordered the product i wanted elsewhere, with the same credit card and without the hassle of constant badgering regarding who I am!! Their prices may be competitive and product range is broad, but I'd rather pay a bit more and save myself the head-ache of dealing with this company again!!

Summary	Delivery of original product was fine, only when it went wrong did I get problems. Happy to take the product back but did not inform me that they currently do not have a suppler for a product, so could not off a replacement. Had they done I could have sent it back to the maker instead. Did have other products homeplug products that looked similar by the same manufacture similar spec did not get offered. There web site stock control is rubbish shows 67 still in stock of a product that they can not currently source. Not a hard item to get hold of as it still in stocked by lots of other retailers. Offered me a refund but did not make it clear I would only get a partial refund. Did not find out until I check my bank statements. I realise it was 9months on but they should have made this all clear. As long as you do not need customer support you will be fine.

	Retailer's comment At LambdaTek we pride ourselves in taking the best possible care of our customers, and are always keen to provide the necessary support in case of faulty goods. Unfortunately if we are unable to replace an item due to lack of stock we have no option but to offer a refund, which occasionally does have to take into account the time it has been used for (if the item was purchased a while back). This is laid out in our terms and conditions, but we are nevertheless sorry that the customer feels he has been misled.

Summary	Item originally out of stock so used automatic email alert function on the website. Sure enough received email as soon as product came into stock. Ordered product at 1430 which was then delivered next morning before 1000. Also the best price on the web for the product. The links to other retailers (when a product is out of stock) doesn't work - I followed the links to find that the product it led to was a different one.

Summary	I was a little nervous about using Lambda-Tek as I had not heard of them before and I was spending £1200 on a the new VAIO FZ31Z . The price-runner reviews were generally pretty good though so I went ahead with it. I'd actually tried DABs first but by the the time they processed my order they were out of stock. Wel, I'm glad they were out of stock because Lambda were brilliant. They were £70 cheaper than DABS and £140 cheaper than buying it direct from sony. I ordered the laptop on a saturday and it turned up 9:30am tuesday morning. They also rang me on the monday afternoon to confirm it had been dispatched. Cannot fault them. Extremely satisfied.

Summary	Very prompt delivery, goods arrived next day even when I asked for 2 day delay in delivery, only issue is stock is held at different warehouses and is delivered by different delivery companies so one order may be delivered in 3 batches at 3 different times. You need to be available all day if you have placed a big order - luckily the order status shows if stock is being sent from different warehouses. Prices are usually the cheapest available and stock levels are good. Overall, I will continue to use this company and reccomend them to others.

Summary	Very happy with retailer and the way the order was dealt with. Found the retailer through pricerunner with a cheaper price than I had seen elsewhere (Acer Travelmate 5720 laptop). Out of stock initially but they emailed straight away to advise of a new delivery. Ordered at once. Customer service, although won't deal by phone, were very efficient by email. I have an issue however that the video card in the laptop is not the same as indicated for that model on the ACER website. This is currently unresolved.

Summary	Read the previous reviews on here and a bit of a mixed bag so decided to chance it. Placed a next day delivery order for a laptop on 29th December. Didn't come through until the 3rd January and that was only after I chased it. I also ordered a printer the following day and they told me on the 2nd that they weren't stocking that any longer! No way I'd go back as after paying £9.50 for next day delivery, not receiving it within 2 days and having to chase it myself, the customer service is just not up to scratch and the woman I spoke to struggled to speak English which never inspires confidence.

	Retailer's comment At LambdaTek we pride ourselves in our customer service, and the vast majority of consignments are delivered on time. When there is a chance that this may not happen we make sure our customers are made aware of it. This was the case during the Christmas period, and all buyers were warned upon checkout with a pop-up that there may be a slight delay in the delivery. We are nevertheless sorry for any delays that do accur and always try our best to minimise delays, although this is often out of our hands as it depends on the couriers honouring the next-day service
