Summary

I am about to buy my first hybrid / commuter bike and so was recommended to go to Evans Cycles. I went in and the staff were unbelivably helpful and not pushy at all. I am usually unimpressed by retail stores and prefer to buy over the net. Evans staff helped me decide on the size and type of cycle that best suited me - as well as trying to stick to my budget. However, they had sold out of the one I wanted but hey, I can wait a few days for delivery from their warehouse.

I bought from this company a few months ago now, and I have only just found the time to warn you of their AWFUL service. I needed the heart rate monitor for an event 2 weeks after I purchased, I made this very clear to the sales guy that made the order and he assured me that I would have it within the week. When it never turned up by the weekend I 1 voicemail and 3 e-mails. I had no reply. When I then chased them up again on Monday afternoon, they gave me a rambled excuse for why I have not received it and will not receive it for a further two weeks - far too late fo my event! The staff are rude and lazy. Do not buy.
