Ordering my fridge freezer was easy, but from there it went downhill. Firstly, the company's system did not process my payment, so I had to ring them. Nobody picked up the phone in the payments section, so I rang customer services and explained the problem. I was told someone would ring me back, which they did - I spoke to a very nice lady who assured me this would not delay delivery the next day. That evening, I waited for my text and email to give me my delivery slot - I did not receive either. As delivery could take place any time between 7 am and 6pm, I made sure I was at the delivery address for 6.50 am on the day, only to find a note saying that delivery had been attempted at 7.00 am! My neighbour informed me that they'd actually tried to deliver at 6.35 am. The company then contacted me about delivery, and they returned at about 8.15 am. The delivery men were surly and unhelpful. Then, two hours after delivery, I received my text to tell me my delivery time! This text also stated that no deliveries would be made before 7 am. I never did receive my email.
I complained to the company, who seemed to take customer satisfaction seriously - it was the managing director himself who responded to my emails. I was offered a £20 refund, which I accepted, to make up for the poor service. However, one thing that annoyed me further was that the delivery men were asked what time they'd tried to deliver, and they said that they considered they'd tried to deliver at 7 am because they waited at my house until that time (when I knew they'd gone well before that time). So I was not best pleased to be called a liar.
The price of the product was excellent (over £120 cheaper than the high street), but unfortunately all other aspects were very poor. I would rather pay more than deal with this company again. | | Do you recommend this retailer? | No |

After poor service with a different company I tried Electrical 123 and found them very easy to use, a polite and knowledgeable person on the phone (although I found them on the web I phoned them to make sure I got what I wanted), and they delivered in 2 days and within a 3 hour time slot they had given me. The delivery men were helpful and checked the TV with me to make sure it was fine.

The delivery men were careful and pleasant. The dishwasher was in perfect condition, tested, well packed and with all its papwork. The dishwasher itself is excellent.

Very straight forward transaction, decided to order by phone, guy was very knowledgable, courteous and professional. Extremely easy ordering process. Well priced products. Item was delivered when stated 7.40am, polite and easy going delivery guys. Well packaged in plastic so any dents etc could be seen (there were none). I ordered the washing machine on bank holiday Monday and booked delivery for the coming Wednesday. I thought that being a bank holiday I would end up with a notification saying that Wednesday could not be achieved but I was wrong. As promised I received an email the day after ordering (Tuesday) confirming delivery for the Wednesday morning. The machine arrived half an hour into the time slot (even though they had left a voicemail saying they could make it slightly earlier, sadly I couldn't get home for the earlier time). The delivery men were fantastic and polite. The price was cheaper than my local big name high st retailer. After a few days the TV became faulty by this time I had disposed of the packaging that the TV had been delivered. I call 123 electronics and they arranged for some new packaging to be shipped out to me next day, picked up the faulty unit and dropped off a new TV the day after.
Not a problem since. Will defiantly be using the again

I was not disappointed. The web site was good but I decided to order by phone so I could make sure the item I wanted was in talk. The service was friendly and efficient.
I think the 3 hour slot is an excellent system but only when it works! I did not receive my e-mail or text to tell me the slot and was woken by the phone ringing at 7am by the delivery driver outside the house!! He unpacked the TV so I could check it and then took away the packaging for me.
I was going to contact the retailer about the lack of notice of delivery but before I got round to doing so was pleasantly suprised to get a phone call asking me if the TV had been delivered OK because the system had gone down and the three hour slots had not been sent out. Customer care at it's best!

The had the item in stock, it was delivered on the selected day and we where given a three hour time slot 24 hours before hand and both times they turned up right at the beginning of the time slot. The bring the item to the location in the house you request, removal all the package so you can inspect the product and take the packaging away with them so you don't have to get rid of it your self. This time we also used the "take my old one away" service and again this was completely straight forward. The delivery men carried the heavy washing machine inside and unwrapped it so I could inspect it, then removed all the packaging and took it with them.

Electrical 123.com wasn't the cheapest site, but being able to choose your exact delivery day, there and then, is worth the extra few pounds. Odered replacement washer/dryer on Wednesday evening (online) for Saturday delivery. Confirmation of the order came through then next morning. On friday morning I had another email confirming delivery for Saturday and also advising me that the exact delivery time would emailed on friday night. By 5pm friday I had an email to say the machine would be with us between 08:32-11:02 on Saturday. The delivery van arrived at about 9am - the machine was delivererd in perfect condition, was placed where we wanted and unpacked. Ordered replacement washing machine online Sunday evening. Site asked what delivery date we wanted and we requested Tuesday. Confirmation of order received Monday morning with details of courier and confirming delivery on Tuesday but was informed that delivery time would be given by courier in the evening. Monday evening received E mail to say goods would be delivered between 9.20 and 11.50. Van arrived at about 11.00 am. Washing machine unpacked and placed where directed. Excellent service. I ordered a 37inch plasma TV over the phone due to having issues with my internet, the staff on the phone where extremely helpful and one person delt with the call rather thaqn getting passed from one department to another which is what I have experienced before.
I received regualr emails confirming the oreder and the delivery date. On the day of delivery I got a phone call from the driver who said he was ahead of schedule and would I mind if he came earlier. He provided me with a rough time of delivery stating he would be with me by 12.30. I then recieved a call saying they had got caught in traffic and may be a bit later than anticipated. They arrived at 12.35 and where still very appoligitic which they did not need to be.
They then set up everything to ensure it was in working order.
You can tell this companies prides it self on good customer service. I would definately use this company again, not only were they the cheapest, but the service received was the best I have received from any retailer. | | Do you recommend this retailer? | Yes |
