The appliance was exactly what I was looking for. A small fridge freezer. I was phoned to say when delivery would be on the day and it arrived on time and in perfect condition. The delivery guys were very helpful and took away the old appliance as requested when I purchased the item. Very happy customer.
ordered from boots as item was in stock and could be delivered within a few days, on a friday. the night before delivery due was told that item had not been sent from manufact. and that it could not be delivered. was very unhappy as had to wait another week before the item could be delivered. was offered saturday delivery for free but this was of no help as that would have meant a further wait of another day.
Purchasing my washing machine through Boots was an easy experience online. Also nice to recieve points from Boots which my partner has used to purchase baby products as she is expecting in December. The product though was not delivered in the time slot given between 11:00&15:00hrs. In fact it was delivered at 17:30hrs. I am upset with this as my partner had to get the bus to her antinatal appointment as I waited in for the washing machine to be delivered. If I had known that it was not going to be delivered in the time slot I could have driven her there and been with her to her my unborn childs heart beats for the first time. When I phoned up customer services I got told that the delivery would be late but I also should not have had to chase this up myself. A late delivery is not an issue for the customer. I had in essence wasted my day off from work waiting around for this delivery. I am currently looking to purchase both a new cooker and tumble dryer but will shy away from looking at the Boots website for these. Thanks
To start with the fridge freezer was £50 cheaper than a major suplier, it was fast delivery, the entrance to the kitcen was very small and the delivery men were very good, they unpacked it outside to enable to get it in. On top of all that i got over £11 on my boots advantage card.
We found out the day after ordering that the product we had selected would not be available for 2 weeks, this happens with all Samsung machines apparently, yet there was no mention of this on the site - apart from in the small print & even then not specific to Samsung. Just felt like a waste of our time, we wouldn't have selected that machine had we known it would not be available for 2 weeks. Customer services did cancel the order straight away though & I guess they were good enough to let us know the machine wasn't available.
Superb service - good value for money kept well informed
this was a first time buy, and I'd have no hestitation in recommending Boots. I didn't know that there was this available from Boots, not well advertised. If only other deliveries were this easy and good communication for delivery.
To be honest we had never heard of Boots Kitchen Appliances before - we found out about them from the manufacturer's list of stockists. Excellent from start to finish, we won't hesitate to use (or recommend) Boots again.
Just a quick note to say that Boots Kitchen Appliances will be highly recommended to my friends and family.When a problem was encountered, your call centre staff were extremely efficient and vey helpful. Thank You Boots.
