Product availability poor - 1 month on and still awaiting delivery of tumble dryer.
The delivery person refused to plumb in washing machine either, despite me paying for this service. He gave some reason but he couldn't get out of the door quick enough!

CommentsI had fully expected Parcel Force to take my product back to their local depot as I knew I would be out when they called. I could have collected my item from their depot the next evening, quite late, as I have done before. As it was, they left the item at my local sub-post office, which closes at 5.30pm, and which meant I could not retrieve my item until the Saturday, four days later! and then I had to get there before 12.30pm.
I appreciate this is not Pixmania's doing, but they should be aware of how their carriers are affecting their business.

CommentsFound I could not use my visa debit card although you had options for Visa electron and Visa. Mine was a Visa delta. Although you had the item in stock it still took about 5 days for my order to be dispatched. When it said my order was dispatched your site said use tracking number to track parcel but no number was there. (appeared a couple of days later).

Some of our payment options take a few days before they are validated and are ready to be dispatched. We also do a security check on all orders paid with a debit or a credit card and if the customers do not answer to this security check the order might be delayed. CommentsI found the site a little clunky to use, but the customer support call service was extremely good and the delivery tracking arrangements were superb, with four-hour delivery slot and a call around half hour before arriving. The only disappointment was that delivery team were not equipped to wire washing machine into wall or to level it - but that was probably an unreasonable expectation!

CommentsI have used Pixmania on several occassions and will continue to do so for certain products - I find the site easy to navigate etc. I have also had occasion to telephone and the Pixmania employee was extremely helpful. I always recommend Pixmania to friends etc when considering buying goods of this type.

CommentsMy purchase experience with Pixmania was good. They kept me informed throughout the purchase and the order tracking was very useful so that I could be available for delivery of my product. My only criticism is that I did not know that I had to provide documentation to validate my identity. This was not a problem just unexpected.

CommentsIt is very poorly stated that almost all of your stock is of European spec (twin plug with a cheap adaptor) I also find it very hard to believe that I have to download my instructions from the internet yet they are supplied in every other language, including Greek, but not English! This is not stated anywhere before purchasing the product. Overall a very poor quality of service and information is which is badly communicated to your customers. I will not be reccomeding you and will most certainly not be shopping with you again.

As you can read from our terms and conditions we are a French company and most of our items do not come with an English manual, this is also stated on the technical information page of the product. Moreover, most of our equipment is European and the electrical plugs are generally 2 pin continental plugs, the voltage is the same and our products are the same spec as you would get in the UK If you should receive the wrong adaptor type, please contact us so we can send you the right one.

CommentsProduct availability and price were excellent. Tracking information gave no details about when to expect the camera. When the camera was delivered Parcelforce left it with someone down the street and didn't put a card though the door saying where it was left - luckily the person down the street was honest and brought the package to the door.

Commentsgood products, good pricing and good delivery, let down by the check out procedure which was very complex and took several attempts - I normally abandon transactions if they are as hard as this.

The site does not come across as the same standard as other sites in the UK.

CommentsThe delivery was on time, but the actual installation was poor. The guys seem to want to get in and out as soon as possible. Didn't properly prepare the machine for installation (e.g. left the wrapping on when instructions clearly state it is to be removed.) Also they were due to take away my old machine. Ihad it sitting out the back so not in my mind as such. I only remembered it as the guy was running out the door. It seemed to be a great inconvenience for him to call his mate back to take it away.

CommentsI ordered 2 larder fridges the same and because this is quite unusual, I phoned 3 days before the delivery to confirm that there would be 2. Come delivery day and guess what! Yes, you're right, just one fridge and my whole kitchen product on hold while they try to sort it out. Its now 3 days later and they've still not told me whats happening and when the other will be delivered,despite my queries.

CommentsBe warned. Ive ordered computer components for around 700 pounds. For all parts I've been waiting about 10 days. Graphics card wasn't working properly. Customer service told me to send it back by post. Refund I've got after 2 weeks. I ordered new one from Pixmania with 24-48h delivery(ups) It's arrived after 5 days. I had to run after UPS courier, he didnt't rang my dorbell - just put card under my dor. Luckily I was at home and close to my door, so I saw card sliding under it. But thats not all!! I opened My parcell and I found that instead of new graphics I have 110 pounds joystick! Customer servce told me to send It back, and wait 2 weeks for refund!!! Even I didn't hear any apologies!! So don't use pixmania Don't waste your time, money and health

We apologise for the late delivery. We have two types for delivery. A standard delivery for 2-3 days and an express delivery for 24-48 hours. None of the options deliver during the weekend. An order can delayed of different reasons. Some of our payment options do take few days before they are validated and are ready to be dispatched. We do a security check on all orders paid with a debit card or a credit card. This to make sure no one stole your card and used it on Pixmania’s website. If the customers do not answer to this security check the order might be delayed.

Sometimes customers do receive the wrong item and we apologise for this. If you have received an incorrect item you need to fill in a returns coupon on our website. If you experience any problems while doing this don’t hesitate to contact us, either on 08700 118 117 or by email on our website, and we will fill it out for you.

CommentsWe have always had excellent customer service before from Pixmania but this time there was a problem. We were not told our order was despatched as two seperate items and the tracking system on Parcelforce did not correctly track the second parcel. Furthermore we notified Pixmania by email that there were no English Instructions for our Blu-Ray player, and they did not respond to this at all. We were very disappointed with customer service on this occasion and hope it is an exception. We even telephoned and spoke to somebody, but she sounded disinterested and not confident in her response which did not give a good impression.

CommentsHave used the site for previous purchases, the site is very clear, the screens roll forward to the next very quickly, the one size fits all type box needs some more consideration, (to stop the smaller internal boxes slipping) as this order was in fact open down one side and the invoice was therefore missing, quickly sent via email, I hasten to add, but could have resulted in a missing item, the perforated edge of the box had split, in transit, not noticed until the courier had gone, but in this instance no real problem, as on my previous occasion I am very satisfied with my purchasing experience with Pixmania, and with such keen prices, I am bound to find some other item to purchase in future.

CommentsThe Pixmania CLUB Card is a rip off, they state half price shipping but they dont tell you that you need to order over £100 to get half price shipping. BIG DEAL!

When I complained and asked for supervisor I was told to write to an address in Paris.

Trading standards can do nothing as they are French Company

CommentsDo not use Pixmania to order anything that is of significant value, I ordered a £890 Toshiba LCD on the 25th Feb, two days later I recieved an e-mail asking for copies of passport/household bills, which I was not willing to give and did not have the facilities to do so (no fax, scanner etc). I emailed for a refund the very same day knowing their policy is ment to refund in 4 working days. Its now the 6th March and only now I have recieved and e-mail (after several e-mails to them)confirming my refund will be in 4 working days, which should mean the 11th of March, a total of 14 days!! I thought buying over the internet was ment to be quick, easy and stress free, if your looking for this experience don't use PIXMANIA.

Thank you for your review. We apologise for the inconvenience regarding your order. The security check is to ensure that it is the card bearer that is making use of the Credit card. If the billing address is different from the delivery address we will always request for more proof to attach the customer to the delivery address, again this is to ensure that this is not a fraudulent person using the card but the card bearer. Pixmania tries to maintain a continuous level of stock, due to the unexpected success of certain product; the manufacturer is unable to keep up with the demands. Normally the customer should receive an email stating when the new delivery date for the warehouse will be. When Pixmania customer contact us by email they must go to our frequently asked question, if a customer replies directly to one of our sent email this might sadly be not received by Pixmania. We do send an email to our customers stating how to contact us. Concerning a refund, this normally takes up to 4 working days. However, if the payment has been made as a bank transfer or a MasterCard the refund can a bit longer. All our valued customers can contact us from Monday-Friday on 08700 118 117
