Ordered appliance,no problems,people at customer services very nice,polite,etc.,gave me a delivery time slot of 4 hours. o.k I thought,half a day off work; phoned me up day before delivery and said between 10am-2pm.Now how can a working person doing a 9-5 job take half a day off with that delivery slot?. No matter,so I booked the whole day off at short notice,eating to my holiday time,sat at home and waited for delivery.2pm arrives no sign of appliance, approx. 2.55pm received phone call from delivery driver saying that my drop would be at between 4pm-6pm. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement, since I finish at 3.30pm on a Friday,so I need'nt have booked a days holiday. You really need to liaise more with your "troops on the ground" ,because when I informed him of my delivery slot, he said, "yeah, but we're on delivery, they don't know". Having said that, they were apologetic on arrival (at 5.35pm.),and they were efficient and polite when they delivered.So thank you,you have just cost me a days holiday (approx. £120) CHEERS!.Sorry this post is so late, have just finished installing dishwasher.

This was the most exceptionally satisfying on line purchasing experience I have ever had. Not only was I kept fully informed every step of the way, the calls were always made when they said they would be and the companies staff and delivery service were courteous and professional. This is the very first time that I have ordered anything on the internet. I took the time to look at all the shopping sites for this particular product (a double integral gas oven) as I could not find one in the shops. When I found the model and colour I wanted at the right price with an extra little discount, I took the plunge and ordered. I found the ordering process very easy to follow. I received two e-mails very quickly with the order confirmation and the delivery date confirmation. I was pleased that the oven was to be delivered on the date I had chosen. I printed off the delivery instructions which I found very helpful. The product was delivered within the four hour window as promised by telephone confirmation the night before.

I had never heard of Appliance deals before but I would not hesitate in recommending them to every one I know . The on line order service is childs play (tells you the stock status before you place the order) and the follow up is second to none , they confirm your order immediately you can choose from different delivery dates to suit , they text and ring you throughout the whole process (I received my washing machine in four days) and best of all they are cheaper than everyone else !!

A nightmare experience too many bad points to want to bore anyone reading this !

in my case i was told various things and other things happened,

i.e. like failed delivery (only found out when i chased them up about it) escalation managers never called back, when totally fed up with all sorts of stories being told to me, I wrote to a senior manager via email (to date )no reply ! I found their 'customer' service department just really devoid of true care, i had a really nightmare experience, was without a fridge for almost a month ! should have gone somewhere else !

1 The delivery slot was 12:00 to 16:00. The delivery actually arrived three hours outside the slot, at 7pm.
2 I had made a note of how to find us on my order. Additionally, I subsequently phoned the next day and also stressed this aspect twice during my notification phone calls. The delivery driver seemed to be totally unaware of the instructions and so they went to the wrong address and it took some time to get them here. It didn't help that the special instructions were printed across the text of the delivery note.
3 Because it was dark by the time they arrived, it made it difficult to bring the lorry close enough to the house. In the end, I had to use my own car to bring the machine up to the house. I also had to help carry the machine from the car into the house and bring out the old machine for disposal (the driver stayed with his lorry).
4 When it came to the installation, I had to assist with removing packaging, tilting the machine etc. The installer seemed totally unfamiliar with how to remove the polystyrene packing and didn't bother to read the installation instructions fixed to the machine.
5 Only after he left (understandably, they were now in a hurry, as it was nearly 8pm), did I read the installation instructions myself and realise that they had not been followed. Only one fixing bolt should have been removed prior to removing the polystyrene packing, not all three. He did not install the cover plate to the base, which means I will now have to disconnect all pipes again, so I can lay the machine down and install the cover. Nor did he install the cover plugs after removing the plastic bolt spacers. Finally, no attempt was made to check the level of the machine or adjust the feet.
6 The installer did briefly test the machine (luckily I thought to remove the instruction book etc from the drum just before he put it on).

Item arrived on the correct date (Very impressed with a choice of delivery dates to suit the individual), no problems. Item was unpacked & packaging taken away for us.Missed mobile phone call for the "4 hour delivery window" on the day before delivery (no further call received that day mobile or land line).Luckily on the day of delivery I was at home all day anyway.Received phone call on the delivery day to say delivery between 11:30am & 1:30pm and ,bingo, delivered smack on in the middle at 12:30pm.In summary very pleased with service ( just the 1 phone call for "4 hour delivery window" could have tried again or the landline Tel number but never used}.Would have no hesitation in using Appliance Deals again RECOMMENDED.

Appliance deals are very good to deal with. I was informed every step of the way as to the procedure of delivery once I had ordered my product. I was given a 4 hour time slot the previouse evening for delivery and informed 1 hour prior of delivery on the day of the approximate time. Although the driver was about l hour after the time he said, with the traffic on our roads these days we come to expect delays. The delivery men were very polite and friendly, the goods were unpacked, checked and the packaging removed. Overall fully satisfied, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Had already researched the particular item and found your website and ordering process very straightforward - and prices highly competitive! Customer service particularly good - received both tel call and text and had driver call on day of delivery to narrow the 4 hour delivery slot to a 2 hour window. Whole delivery process took all of minutes - very efficient. Have already recommended the site to a work colleague and will certainly use you in the future as the benchmark for service and price.

Customer service was excellent. The only problem was that the first cooker sent had been badly dented, so we had to return it. The replacement cooker was slightly chipped but we opted to keep it. Therefore products not properly checked before delivery. But overall experience of appliance deals very good, especially the customer service staff who were extremely helpful. Delivery men also very good.

The delivery arrangements were first class. Unfotunately on the first delivery the hob had obviously been dropped and smashed.This would have been known to the person responsible and delivery should have been cancelled. I had also arranged for an electrician to take out the old unit and connect the new,By the time the damage was known it was too late to cancel and I had to pay for an abortive call. The second delivery was fine but I had to wait an extra week

Frustrating & perplexing.
Ordered 20 Feb 08 & given delivery date 29 Feb 08 (very good so far). Appliance deals failed to deliver or to contact me on the agreed date (having waited in all day especially). I contacted Appliance deals 1 March to be told appliance did not meet Appliance deals' standards so it had not been delivered. After several phone calls - initiated both ways - I cancelled my order on the 13 March. At cancellation I had been given no delivery date or any expectation of when appliance would be delivered. 23 days had elapsed since my order. At the time of cancellation my order had not beeen escalated as out-of-line.

Delivery on time - did have to ask the delivery man to unpack it so that it could be inspected prior to signing (as advertised) - he just said 'sign here'.
