CommentsDelivery was 'almost' on time.Equipment was moved into my kitchen from van.
Staff were corteous.Web site ordering is simple to operate.
The price was right(I,m a pensioner)and I would reccomend your service to anyone considering buying a washing machine.

CommentsWe ordered a dishwasher from Sainsbury's. The website and delivery arrangements went smoothly but the day before delivery we were told the appliance was no longer in stock. Sainsburys had taken our payment by this stage and yet could not get us a dishwasher for another two weeks. We therefore cancelled the order but would not have our money returned for another 5 days. When I range customer services to sort all this out I was put on hold, transfered, told I had dialed the wrong number (despite having followed their instructions) and was generally not dealt with efficiently. I was disappointed with this service.

CommentsDelivery slot of between 7.00.00am and 11am provided and promised there would be a call from driver at 6.55 if 7.00am delivery or 30 minutes before arrival if later than 7.00am. No call received which resulted in a panic when lorry arrived at 7.30am. Appliance unpacked outside in pooring rain before transferring to kitchen leaving us to dry it off! Delivery team were helpful though and transferred old fridge to garage which was a change to original plan for recycling.

CommentsI ordered two Bosch ceramic domino cooker hobs and booked a delivery slot. The day before the delivery date they called to say that they were only going to deliver one of the hobs. I waited in for the delivery but no-one came. When I called customer services to find out what had happened I was told that they did not have either of the hobs in stock and that they would arrange to deliver both of them on another day. On the second attempt to deliver, they only brought one of the hobs, so I had to arrange a third delivery slot to get the remainder of the order. This was very frustrating since I had chosen Sainsbury's from among the many other companies offering this product because they had the shortest lead times on delivery, even though they were £20-40 more expensive.
The only positive part of the experience was the excellent help provided by Customer Service. They kept me informed about what was happening, and were courteous and concerned throughout.

CommentsGlad we chose Sainsbury Kitchen Appliances. Would have no hesitation shopping with Sainsbury's for electrical goods in the future. Will be recommending Sainsbury's to our friends. The service was excellent from start to finish.

CommentsThe experience was quite good, however I was very dissappointed to find that there was no instruction manual left with the fridge freezer, and the hooks on the shelves are still in place, so we can't move the shelves until we find out how to remove the hooks. There is also two small scratches at the top of the fridge.

CommentsI bought from Sainsburys because they had the product I was looking for at a competitive price. It also meant I would get nectar points. The arrangements for delivery were excellent and I was very pleased to receive phone calls from the driver to give me a more exact delivery time. It meant I wasn't kept in the house too long. The men were very pleasant and efficient. I was allowed to keep the machine in its packaging as the space for it is not ready yet. It proved to be a completely stress free experience (so long as the machine is undamaged when I remove the packaging!!)

CommentsA very pleasant experience.I was kept well informed of the progress of my delivery, by e mail,text and telephone conversation.The delivery company rang as promised on the afternoon before the delivery day to confirm the 4 hour time slot.The delivery drivers called that morning to let me know that they were running late so that I wasn't waiting around for hours, which was very good.
Overall for my first experience of online shopping for a household appliance, I am more than satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

CommentsFound the staff very friendly and very helpful. Communication was very clear and straight forward. Delivery was spot on target on all the items in stock and the delivery people were polite and helpful. However there is one item which is out of stock that i am waiting to find out when delivery is scheduled for and I would prefer more frequent updates on when this item is due in stock (Fisher & Paykel Fridge Freezer).

CommentsThe customer service team were always very helpful when I phoned and the team who delivered my cooker were also very good.
I was dissapointed with delivery arrangements because I was given delivery appointments on 10th March and 18th March which were not fulfiled.
I discovered that the appointment on 10th would not take place because I rang on the Saturday before the delivery to check the delivery slot. On the second appointment of 18th I waited in for the delivery and only discovered that the cooker was not being delivered when I rang after the timed delivery slot had expired.
I was told on both occasions that the cooker could not be found in the warehouse.
The problems with the delivery have spoilt my shopping experience with Sainsbury's kitchen appliances.

CommentsMy first purchase from sainsbury's electrical. Everything went extremely smoothly. The ordering/payment procedures were simple. The delivery options are superb, offering a Saturday delivery at no extra charge. Telephoned the night before to confirm delivery and again in the morning. On-time delivery by efficient team who were very helpful. Overall, I am completely impressed with this purchase from sainsbury's. Highly recommended.

CommentsMy delivery was late. They were very good at communicating when they would be arriving but the truck broke down and so they delivered on Sunday instead of Saturday. Surely you check the vehicles before you load them? They delivered and tried to install but could not. In the end they said that I would not be charged the installation fee but, in my credit card statement, it appears that I have been.

Also, I presume that DRL Ltd is Sainsbury's Kitchen Appliances' name on my credit card statement. If not, I've been charged the exact amount that we initially agreed (i.e. including installation fee)

The product itself was too proud in my kitchen and to accommodate this I have had to remove the door of another cupboard. Therefore, the measurements given were wrong because I measured the space exactly before your delivery people arrived.

CommentsDid not deliver on schedule. Delivery drivers made pathetic excuses for not being able to find address. Spoke at length after this with Sainsburys customer service, with regard to location of address. Rescheduled delivery was a complete disaster because the new delivery company were given the billing address and not the delivery address. Many unecessaary phone calls were received by me from drivers and customer services for repeat information. I had made special arrangements to be at delivery address and ultimately wasted about 11 hours waiting for delivery. I received item at 2pm on 27th May.

CommentsOne of the worst customer experiences I have had. I woudl strongly advise against using this company. They may be cheap but they are not reliable. They originally promised delivered for Saturday, moved the delivery at two days notice to the Friday (which was really inconvenient) then called me to tell me they couldn't deliver after all as the goods were damged. They then rescheduled for a week later but failed to deliver the goods as arranged. When I telephoned the call centre they were anything but helpful - just offering to reschedule teh delivery for one weeks time. I have now cancelled my order in disgust.

CommentsHaving checked out various washer-dryers on line, we chose Sainsbury's as it had the most competitive price and the added bonus of Nectar points. Ordering was extremely straightforward and Sainsbury's kept us fully informed of delivery times. The delivery personnel were very friendly and carried out the fitting quickly and efficiently. We are very satisfied with our purchase experience.

CommentsVery pleased with the washing machine. Two notes though - Firstly, the firm making delivery didn't actually ring the evening before as advised. Rang at 07:00 which was a little disconcerting on a Saturday morning! They did arrive within the specified time slot however, and removed the old machine swiftly and efficiently.
Secondly, should have warned that the new appliance was plumbed to just cold water supply. When switching on the new machine, we turned on both hot and cold supplies under the sink (which had both been needed on our old Bosch) and suffered a small soaking from the free range hot pipe as a result! Just as well we weren't elderly or infirm, and could swiftly see what was wrong, cause the drivers had left by this time.

CommentsGreat ordering, but delivery left a bit to be desired. Although Ihad paid for it installing it was not tested at all by the engineers. The machine was not levelled so it jumped about a little until I adjusted it. £15 seems a lot for such a poor service.

CommentsGood price and excellent delivery arrangements, two calls, one day before to advise timeslot and one from the driver on the day to fix time very accurately - excellent. Did not like sales call for extended insurance for life - too pushy and tried hard to get hold of my bank details - unacceptable. Also told me I had expensive tastes which is rather rude. Sounded suspiciously like a scam and I would have hoped for much better from Sainsburys. I have downgraded customer support as a result which is a shame as they were good when I rang to change the delivery date. Overall, the insurance issue aside, the purchase was very good.

CommentsWas satisfied with customer support but very unhappy about the delivery. The product was not unwrapped inspite of requesting this, the delivery people seemed very interested in leaving the property as quickly as possible, so I was signing for an unseen item and also left with the packaging to dispose of. The customer services told me that the fridge/freezer would be unwrapped for inspection before I would be asked to sign for it.

CommentsOrdered a Bosch washer-dryer on Sunday afternoon of a bank holiday weekend and it was installed by the following Saturday morning. Great price, delivery and service. The old appliance was removed and they took away the whole mound of packaging material. Would definitely consider these people again for similar products in the future.

CommentsI had been informed that the delivery would happen between 7-11 in the morning. At 11.40 I call up customer services to enquire about the whereabouts of my washing machine. I am told that they will ask the driver to call. The driver calls at 12.30 when he is 5 minutes away. It is really annoying to spend half the day waiting for the delivery.

CommentsFrom duplicating my card payment to losing my preferred delivery date to then having 2 items go out of stock to then being called the date before delivery to be told that another item was not going to be delivered - the service & experience has been absolutely awful. I will not be using Sainsburys ever again.

CommentsI was very impressed with the service when ordering my washing machine from Sainsburys Kitchen Appliances. The ordering procedure on the web site was straight forward and easy to understand. I was sent a text message confirming the order and had a phone call giving a delivery time slot which was followed on delivery day by a call from the delivery driver giving an E.T.A.
The only fault with the whole process was that the driver complained that he wasn't told that the machine was to be carried up a flight of stairs even though this was stated on the order cofirmation details?

CommentsOrdering the appliances was easy enough, however, the delivery process left a lot to be desired.

On the day before my original delivery, I was told to expect the driver between 9am and 1pm. I made arrangements to have someone at the property at 9.30am. Imagine my surprise when the driver called me at 7am and said he'd be there at 7.50am !! I called the delivery company to tell them that this was outside the delivery window I had been promised, and they assured me that the driver would attempt to deliver during the time I was promised. The driver left me a voicemail at 8.10am to say he had been waiting for me, and would not be delivering on that day. When I called Sainsburys to complain, they told me that the driver said he left at 9am, however, this was not possible, as my house is a new build, and there was no way he could have found my property without my directions.

After a few calls, I managed to get delivery arranged for Saturday. This time, they called me on Friday, and said that I should expect the driver between 7am and 11am. The driver came on time this time, around 8am, but as I mentioned before, he got lost, his sat nav put him in the next village, about 10 minutes away !!

Delivery was almost painless, however, two of my items were duplicated on their manifest (I need to check that Sainsburys has not billed me twice for them), and then, the driver said that Sainsburys had not told them to connect my dishwasher, even though I had paid for that !! I called Sainsburys again to complain, and they said that the best they could do for me was to refund my connection charge, which still left me with a dishwasher I can't use, and now I have to pay a plumber to connect, which will cost me a bit more.

To make things worse, I was practically forced to sign that all the appliances had been tested and were in good condition even though:

1. I couldn't use the fridge freezer or the freezer for a few hours after delivery, as advised.
2. Dishwasher was not connected AT ALL, not even plugged in, just pushed into place.
3. Washing machine was not even switched on.

An online store is only as good as the delivery process, and I have to say the 'service' I received from the delivery company was very, very poor.

CommentsAsked to change delivery which was agreed by them, but it was not 'confirmed on their system', so change didn't happen. Was told product was in stock but it wasn't, and there was no notification of this. They were supposed to confirm delivery time the day before, but they didn't. Delivery was finally made two weeks late, at the third attempt. Complete shambles.

Commentslooking through the site for my washing machine was easy, at first i was put off by the 19.99 delivery charge but with research and the fact i could earn Nectar points the prices were good. The after sales service and tracking of the order was excellent!

Comments We were kept informed at all stages of the progress of our order. Even though the appliance was in short supply due to demand, and we had to await a delivery from the factory. As soon as the product was availabe we were informed and had several telephone calls explaining exactly when the appliance would be delivered. On delivery the men were most helpful, unpacking the appliance and disposing of the packaging before transporting the appliance to its final resting place. We were highly satisfied with the experience of purchasing from Sainsburys and we shall continue to be loyal customers

CommentsAs with all deliveries, apart from Ocado, the lottery of delivery times is frustrating. Such wide time slots do not allow you to readily plan other events, particulary taking children to school etc.
Delivery staff were reported to be very helpful.
Surprised at delay in delivery date from order.

CommentsI ewas very disappointed that my booked date on the internet was cancelled and it ended up being two weeks before the appliance was delivered. The poor availability of delivery times was not acceptable.
