Summary

This retailer has a hopeless ordering system. Their address finder does not recognize valid postcodes and inportantly there is no option to preview orders before paying up. As a result, my order was sent to the wrong address. I called additions within 2 minutes of receiving confirmation that the item was going to the incorrect address . Rather than amending my existing order they cancel it and make me re-order. One week later , guess what? I have 2 microwaves! One arrives in 2 days and the other takes 6 days to arrive so their delivery service is hit and miss too. I emailed them with my comlaint which as been ignored. Avoid Additions.

"Thank you for your feedback on our ordering systems. I'm sorry that you have experienced problems and would like to assure you that your comments and concerns will be taken on board. The Additions website is designed to be simple to navigate and ultimately easy to process through to the order stage without fuss. We use several systems to ensure that we capture all relevant information. On occasions, the application details given are slightly out of the perimeter of our guidelines and this may result in a failed search. The facility to preview an order prior to acceptance should have been available and it would therefore appear that this facility was experiencing technical problems at this time."
