Payment Options You can pay with any Maestro, MasterCard, American Express or Visa card. Your payment card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Refund Policy If you wish to cancel your order we ask that you advise us at least 3 working days before your planned delivery date and you will receive a full refund. If 3 working days notice is not given, we will not refund the delivery charge of £19.99 (£29.99 for Northern Ireland). Where the goods have been delivered to you, you may return them for up to 7 working days from the date of delivery, in line with the distance selling directive. We reserve the right to charge you to collect the goods and to charge you for any damage that may have occurred whilst the goods have been in your possession, if necessary. No goods can be returned to store for a refund – All cancellations must be processed via DRL Limited. For further information and charges please see Returns. We will then organise for the goods to be collected by our courier usually within 5-7 days. The charge for collecting goods is £99.99 which reflects the actual cost of collection. Under the terms of the distance selling directive you as the customer have a duty of care for the product whilst it is in your possession. If products are damaged by you and subsequently returned, a charge will be made to repair the product to its original condition. Please be aware that where repair is not economically viable no refund will be made. Items purchased at Empire Direct Appliances cannot be returned to a Empire/Richer Sounds store. Faulty Goods Notwithstanding our Delivery condition above If, after the goods have been fitted, you find a fault; we reserve the right to request that the following steps are complied with: i. you provide written notice of the defect to us and/or telephone us quoting your order reference number within 7 days of discovering the defect ; and ii. you allow us to provide an engineer, you will be contacted to arrange a house visit to inspect the goods and confirm the fault or if asked by us we will arrange for the goods to be collected from you and returned Empire Direct Appliances at the our expense for the examination to take place there Upon confirmation from the engineer that there is fault, and the goods do not conform to the contract, we shall at our option repair or replace such goods (or the defective part) or refund the price of such goods, whichever is considered to be economically viable by Empire Direct Appliances. Empire Direct Appliances shall not be liable for the goods if you continue to use the goods after giving such notice to us; or alter or repair the goods without the written consent of Empire Direct Appliances. Delivery Delivery will be made to the address specified by you. Please note that our standard delivery of products is within mainland UK, including the Isle of Wight. Our courier will make all deliveries to you. We do our best to secure delivery within 3-7 working days, (up to 14 working days for Northern Ireland), of the date of your order. If you order and specify items with different delivery dates, we will ship them separately and you will be charged a delivery charge each time. The cost for delivery is £19.99 (£29.99 For Northern Ireland) regardless of the number of items delivered, on a particular date. There is an additional charge of £5.99 for deliveries made on a Saturday, £9.99 for next day and £2.99 for rapid deliveries (Please note, this service is only available to UK mainland postcodes). Surcharges may apply for special deliveries where there are access restrictions. If you are not at home for a pre-arranged delivery then we reserve the right to charge you £19.99 (£29.99 Northern Ireland) again to redeliver your order. If you wish to change the delivery date once it is agreed then please give us no less than 3 working days notice prior to delivery. If less than 3 working days is given, an additional £19.99 (£29.99 for Northern Ireland deliveries) may be charged. On delivery our couriers will unpack the appliance and you will be required to sign a Proof of Delivery which shall be conclusive evidence that you have received your order. You agree to check the goods on receipt and inform us of any obvious external cosmetic damage following inspection of the goods. If there is any obvious cosmetic external damage to the goods at the time of delivery then you agree to note these on the delivery paperwork or refuse the delivery. Signing the delivery note to accept receipt, allowing our drivers time to unpack the goods and confirming you have inspected them for any obvious external cosmetic damage are conditions of the sale and we reserve the right not to complete the delivery if you refuse these conditions. If we refuse delivery then the goods will be returned and all monies paid will be refunded. Where any obvious cosmetic external damage has been noted on your Proof of Delivery this shall not affect your statutory rights. We look forward to meeting you on your delivery day! • Quick and efficient service - your new appliance is delivered directly from our central warehouse within 3-7 days*. Customers that need it quicker choose our next day delivery, providing that you order before 1pm on the day of purchase we can get it to you the following day for only £9.99 extra**. Alternatively why not use our Rapid Delivery service and have your new appliances in as little as 2-3 working days for just £2.99 extra. • Price - We only charge £19.99 for delivery (£29.99 for Northern Ireland) no matter how many items you order (please note, there is an additional £5.99 charge for deliveries made on a Saturday and a £9.99 charge for our Next Day Delivery Service and £2.99 for our Rapid Delivery Service). • Delivery to suit you - We deliver to all UK mainland postcodes 6 days a week; customers who need a service to fit around their busy lifestyles choose our Saturday delivery at an extra cost of only £5.99 . (This excludes Northern Ireland and selected postcodes for the Isle of White). • One Delivery - If you order your appliances together we will deliver them together, regardless of how many different products or brands that you order because we know that your time is precious! • 4 hour delivery slots - We will text you or call you the evening before your delivery between 5:30pm and 9:30pm to confirm your 4 hour delivery slot (if your delivery is on a Monday you can expect a call between 9:30am and 1:30pm on the Saturday). • Keeping you informed - Your driver will call you the morning of delivery, between 7am – 10am to reconfirm your 4 hour delivery slot because it’s important for you to be able to plan your day! • Professional two man delivery teams – Sit back and relax! Your dedicated two man delivery team will carefully carry your appliance(s) into a room of your choice and unpack it all for you, so you don’t have to! The heaviest thing you will have to lift will be the pen to sign for your delivery note. • Packaging recycling – Not only will we remove the packaging from your appliances we will take it away and recycle it too, saving you a trip to the tip. • Recycling - At the point of order you can request for us to take away and recycle your unwanted appliances for just £9.99.
