We bought a Panasonic FZ28 through the website on Sunday, at what we felt was a bargain price. It arrived today, just like the delivery statement said it would and we are absolutely delighted with it.

Before we purchased the camera we reviewed several on line shops to make sure the good deal we saw in the price was followed through with good customer service & delivery. We read several reviews about Camerabox from people who made purchases, mostly were positive but there were a few unhappy customers, but this is what we would expect as these people are likely to be the ones who would find the motivation to voice their dissatisfaction, unlike the happy customers who are too busy having fun with their new cameras. Compared to the other on line shops, we felt that Camerabox offered the best overall package & on top of which, my dad had recently purchased the same camera a few weeks earlier and only had good things to say about the goods & service he had received this company.
Like everybody else, we took pleasure in researching which camera we wanted, and the good customer service from Camerabox ensured that none of that excitement was taken away from us. They delivered exactly what they promised and we will be recommending Camerabox to our friends and family.

I bought a Sony camera from the online website and it developed a fault with the screen - sent it back with my purchase and bank details as I had mislaid the original invoice and they said they could not accept this as it was not the original invoice and they needed this to send to the manufacturer - after contacting trading standards who stated that as long as you can prove you purchased the item and had bank details of the transaction then camerabox have to accept that as proof of purchase!! The next problem I incurred was they said the screen of my camera was 'damaged' and implied it was my fault so they would not have it repaired under the guarantee but if I wanted them to forward it to Sony I would have to pay for it. I was very disappointed the way they dealt with me and I decided to contact Sony directly and what a pleasure to deal with a person who understands the meaning of customer service. My camera was returned to Sony at their expense (unlike camerabox who made me pay to return the camera) and within 7 days my camera was repaired and returned in perfect working order!! Sony said it was a fault with the camera whereas camerabox implied it was damage that caused the fault.
I would certainly recommend Sony products and aftersales service but not camerabox.

I ordered a camera from the Camera Box website [ Camerabox.co.uk. ] and they sent me an email a few days later saying that the camera had been discontinued and they had no stock so could not fulfil my order although they had already charged my debit card on the day that I ordered. I replied and said in that case could they please refund the money taken from my card.

Despite several emails and phone calls asking them to cancel the order and refund my card; they have still failed to do so. As I (not unreasonably) expected them to refund my card within a reasonable time and they did not do so I incurred £60 in bank charges for going overdrawn for 2 days when the refund did not arrive in my account as expected.

I am still waiting for a refund.
Avoid camerabox as their customer service is appalling.

Looking around for an upright camcorder for the other half, I visited numerous websites, tried all the ones I usually buy from then came across the Camerabox site, well set out, easy to use and full of information.
I chose the Sanyo VPC-CG65 then tried to better the price elsewhere, not even close, ordered it from Camerabox on a Friday, received 2 e-mails by return, 2 more over the weekend and 1 on Monday morning just before arrival of the camcorder, this is what I call customer service!
It is a very pleasant experience to be kept well informed instead of 1 e-mail and days and days of waiting.

I really feel I must commend Camerabox on their amazing service. I came across Camerabox while surfing the net looking for a new digital camera. I could not believe my eyes to find what I wanted at such a very reasonable price.
I ordered a Panasonic Lumix DCM FS5 from them and received the camera the next day.
I then realised that through my own stupidity I had ordered the wrong model, as I wanted a Lumix DCM FS20 with a 3" viewing screen.
I emailed for a returns code, which came back to me in a flash! I was thinking I would have to wait half a life time for my purchase to be refunded, then to order the model I wanted.
I duly returned camera to Camerabox with a covering letter explaining my error and sat back anticipating a long wait...
48 hours later, to my astonishment, the postman delivered my replacement camera!
What can I say? Amazing. It is really unusual to find such an efficient company these days. I will be telling everyone to purchase from Camerabox. Forget Ebuyer and all the other online retailers now for digital cameras! Camerabox service is second to none! Emails answered promptly! Prices unbelievable and next day delivery!
I am on every happy customer.

Panasonic Lumix TZ5 First thing I've ordered off this company probably wont order anything again.
I ordered the camera at 6.30am on Wednesday morning so as to get it for my partners birthday on Friday. I read the reviews on here about having a different delivery address to my home address so I gave them my work number. Now here's the problem they never phoned me at work to check my details until 3.00pm but already left by then. Got home at 6.15pm after they had close and found an email telling they couldn't process my order please phone them.
I can understand them being cautious with online credit card transaction but why didn't they call first thing on Wednesday morning at work and check.
So phoned on Thursday morning to find out what was wrong to be told they hadn't sent the camera out yet. No camera for birthday present so me not happy!!! Let this be a warning to you if you are going to put different addresses on the order form make sure you are around all day for the check up phone call.

Ordered a camcorder bundle including the camera plus a case and a spare battery. The package arrived on time but without a spare battery which was marked 'to follow' despite the website allegedly showing a live stock position. After several phone calls and broken promises of delivery days I was informed after 4 weeks that the battery would be unavailable for the foreseeable future. I was told I would be given a refund but was only offered £20 despite the battery price being £39. They claimed that buying at the bundle price meant that I paid full price for the camcorder and the case but got the battery half price. If you buy from Camerabox I suggest you phone for a live stock position and not to trust the website as you may end up out of pocket.

What more would you want from an online store. Items in stock, simple to use web site with great product descriptions and images and everything is so well-priced to all the other web sites. I recently made an order with http://warehouseexpress.com, but I came across Camerabox after receiving my order. Luckily one of my products was out of stock, so I ordered my hoya filter from Camerabox for around £20 cheaper, and delivery is super fast for little extra cost. Service is great on there is someone always at hand to help out using msn messenger live chat. I won't be ordering anywhere else now I have discovered Camerabox. Ow, and my money goes to a independent store. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!
