Like the reviewer below (Matt), I have recently taken delivery of a Panasonic DMC-TZ7 at an all-in price of £255. I had previously read the poor reviews, but after calling to check that the item really was in stock I went ahead. My experience is exactly as per that described by Matt. Order placed on Monday 1st June, expected to receive shipping number within 48 hours, nothing by Thursday so range them and a polite lady said the order had got to them on Tuesday (despite payment having being taken on Monday) and that it could take 3-4 working days. She said I'd get the number on Friday of first thing Monday. I was dismayed by this and thought that the negative reports were to be my experience. All set to cancel on the Friday, on the basis that I was being duped, only to receive an email with the shipping order first thing, which when I tracked through showed that shipment had started the day before and that delivery was expected that day - which is exactly what happened. I have recently received my order of a Panasonic Luxix TZ7 compact camera. I paid about £25 less than the next cheapest retailer on the web so when, after placing the order, I read some reviews stating all sorts of problems with actually receiving goods, I started to think that I had made a real mistake just going for the absolute cheapest price. However, I am happy to say that the camera did arrive in the time stated in B4Us terms of delivery.
I would warn any potential purchasers though to read those terms and conditions first. I did not not realise when I placed my order that the goods are not neccessarily UK stock, even though they are covered by a UK (European) warantee with the MANUFACTURER. Do not expect any after sales service.
Also, the banner on the website states that items are usually dispached within 24 hours. Actually the terms state 48 hours, allowing 3 to 5 days for delivery.
