Summary

Decided to give them the benefit of the doubt despite poor ratings owing to incredible price. Worst decision ever. They reckoned they had dispatched within a couple of days. When the item (yamaha surround sound) didn't come after a few days, the chase commenced, we called and emailed every day until eventually 3 weeks after they emailed to say that they didn't have it in stock after all and would be issuing a refund (seems to be a recurring theme. 2 Days after this they were still advertising to sell this product. I personally doubt whether they ever had the product. On the website, it actually states the products have european plugs. I wonder whether maybe they try to buy the products in as they're ordered? If you have a lot of time to spare and are in no rush for your purchase by all means, give them a go, because they're clearly cheaper than the competition. In future though I will be buying elsewhere.

Summary

Be VERY cautious when ordering from this web retailer. I purchased a Canon camera near the end of July of this year. I received the camera OK, it did however seem that the camera had previously been used. When it came to using the camera for the first time, to my astonishment, the charger did not work. When B4U were called they stated that their terms and conditions are for 7 days ONLY. Not as the law regarding the sale of goods act states should be 14 days. Anyway they refused to take the item back or replace the charger or refund the money. Thanks to Canon who replaced everything I needed. Full marks to Canon for their help. AVOID B4U Direct at ALL costs.

Summary

Depressingly i did not look here until after i had placed my order for a Cowon Mp3 player ,looked at item on website for 3 days prior to ordering,then took the plunge and ordered ,it had been marked as in stock every time.
Delivery was supposed to be 48hrs ,my money was taken immediately ,so waited for tracking number to come ,it didnt , went back to website and item was now marked as out of stock .
Phoned customer services (Ahem!) ,and was told that they had secured stock for my order and was to be despatched the following day.
The same evening about 3 hrs later in fact , i recieved an email from them saying that item was unfortunately out of stock due to high demand and would i like to order something else from site in its place (no mention of refund )
The next day i phoned them asking for a refund and was told no problem ,would be made within 3 working days.
Guess what ? , it wasn`t ,so phoned again ,she said that she would get onto the relevant person and it would be sorted ,

please think very hard before dealing with this company,they delay,and muck you around until you cancel your order, (which they ignore) and then charge you for postage,i am looking at contacting watchdog to see if they will investigate, as i feel sure they may be breaking the law,be extra careful when dealing with a kerry she is a real piece of work. you have been warned.

I placed online orders for 2 SatNavs (TomTom 930 and Garmin765T) on Saturday and Monday 1st and 3rd August 2009 respectively. I phoned and chased the progress on orders on 6th. I was told that both your items have been dispatched and when I asked for tracking number, I was told that they will be emailed to you later on today which never arrived. However, 3 hours later, what arrived was a letter saying that they do not have the Garmin SatNav in stock!!! and whether I wanted something else. Not knowing what to believe, I asked them to clarify whether they have sent the item or they are out! To my disbelief, they confirmed that indeed it is out of stock (despite their system showing in stock). I asked for a prompt refund and their Customer Service (Kerry Adams) assured me in an email that the refund will arrive my account no later than maximum of 3 days (11 August). However, The Tomtom SatNav eventually arrived on 10 August. The irony was that the tracking number arrived only 2 hou
