I was highly satisfied with the service from purchase to delivery. The only criticism is that I was notified of 4 hour delivery window of between 12:00-16:00. I was notified of a one hour delay by the driver on the morning of day of delivery and that I would receive my goods between 13:00-17:00. I actually took receipt of the purchase at 18:30 which was slightly annoying given that I had taken half a day annual leave from work. That being said I still rate the overall service as very satisfied as I have purchased from Next Domestic Appliances on previous occasions without any problems and thus put this particular instance down to an isolated case.
Due to my location delivery was a nightmare, I received my delivery notice, but goods were only going to first courier therefore I had removed my old appliance a week before the new one arrived, then I didnt get notice when it was delivered, so had to go back to the courier to sort this out! I must say though, Jackie at your Customer Services was a great help, so please pass on my thanks to her!!!
Next Domestic Appliances had the best available price for the dishwasher, the ordering process was simple and the delivery times quick by comparison with the competition.
Purchase was quick and easy but delivery was terrible. Was sent text and phone call to say delivery between 9-1pm. Phoned courier at 2pm as hadn't arrived, they contacted driver who said would be here within one hour and the driver would call me. Called again at 4pm but they were unable to contact driver. Finally arrived at 4.30pm with just a sorry for being late, no explanation. Not good enough
The experience was very positive with quick ordering and prompt delivery. Unfortunately the connection service could not be done because of the type of socket we had, but the delivery man was fine about that and said it was a common problem. However we have not had the expected follow up call which he suggested we would receive, in which we could arrange for the connection fee to be refunded.
