fantastic service. ordered thursday, chose Tuesday for delivery, got a message and text the day before confirming 4 hour time slot, then a call on the morning to give a more precise time within 2 hours.
WOULD RECOMMEND
Was due to deliver between 3 and 7pm. Was told at 3.30pm that van had broken down and would not be delivering today. Partner had taken day off work in order to receive goods. Rang the call centre back to ask for early delivery and some kind of refund on delivery charges but the operator said we would have to ring in morning to find out when they're delivering again (another day taken off work now) and that she did not have authority to issue refunds. Not very good service so far.
One other thing is if you have more than 6 steps to your property then they wont deliver!!
good experience overall apart from the VERY annoying follow up call trying to sell me insurance - I tried to politely cut off the man who would not stop talking & he wasted 10 minutes of my time plus he kept using my first name which I found v irritating!
I was highly satisfied with the service from purchase to delivery. The only criticism is that I was notified of 4 hour delivery window of between 12:00-16:00. I was notified of a one hour delay by the driver on the morning of day of delivery and that I would receive my goods between 13:00-17:00. I actually took receipt of the purchase at 18:30 which was slightly annoying given that I had taken half a day annual leave from work. That being said I still rate the overall service as very satisfied as I have purchased from Next Domestic Appliances on previous occasions without any problems and thus put this particular instance down to an isolated case.
Due to my location delivery was a nightmare, I received my delivery notice, but goods were only going to first courier therefore I had removed my old appliance a week before the new one arrived, then I didnt get notice when it was delivered, so had to go back to the courier to sort this out! I must say though, Jackie at your Customer Services was a great help, so please pass on my thanks to her!!!
