Notification of delivery time was by a recorded message, which was nearly ignored as it sounded like a pre-recorded telephone sales call, of which we get many.
Delivery was late, ie not within the 4 hour time slot. When Customer services was contacted to see if we were getting the delivery we were told that "the 4 hour slot is only approximate" - in which case there seems to be little point in arranging this.
To be fair, following our call the driver did ring back and tell us when he expected to arrive.

The items were easy to order - good product descriptions. The items came on the day I requested. I received a call and an e-mail day before delivery to give me a time slot and the delivery guys rang before delivery to give me a more exact time. The items were unpacked and the packaging taken away. A really good service.

Painless to order and delivery arrangements fine. The washing machine arrived at 7.10 a.m. on 2.11.09.and was found to be severely damaged on the front face. A replacement appliance could not be delivered until 20.11.2009. This was an unacceptable delay. I contacted Boots at 8.05 a.m. on the same day to cancel the order as a competitor could offer next day delivery and at a cheaper price. The Boots helpline were sympathetic and promised an immediate refund to our credit card and confirmation by e-mail. The refund as of 3.11.2009, has not yet materialised and we are still waiting for the confirmation e-mail from Boots.Good at taking your money, slow on returning it, when they have failed to fulfil their contract.
