Delivery might be improved by giving an am or pm slot.

Absolutely fantastic, it was so easy and the prices were great. I loved the section where you could choose a delivery date to suit you rather than a random one. Delivery was fast too because it even arrived a few hours before the morning post, so at least I had some time to play with it before I left for work. Great shopping experience, would purchase from again and will definitely recommend to friends.

I had never purchased from Hughes before but found the item I wanted on your website at a great price. I received a phone call to arrange delivery and it was delivered on time. the delivery man made every effort to leave the item with a neighbour as I was not in. overall - very satisfied.

I was very impressed with how easy it was to find and order the item I was looking for I found the sight both easy and informative and the whole prosess took up wery little of my time, The delivery date and time was good and the item was deliverd on time.

They had the product available with nice short delivery delay which was good, and the price was good also. I would have liked to have been told what time the delivery would have been, even an am or pm would have been good, but I was just given a day. The deliverers were very nice.

I was very pleased with the product & the price. Surprised that a few days after I bought the h-fi for £169 that it had been raised to £229! This latter price was the same as quoted to me by the local (Colchester) Hughes Electrical shop. Shopping comparison sites showed a variation of £149 to £239 - extraodinary!

I ordered an item which was "In Stock" at the time of order (15/09/08) - After taking payment I was suitably informed that the item was "temporarily out of Stock"!! - The item was eventually delivered on 03/11/08 - AND when connected was shown to be faulty - today is 01/12/08 and the item is still not free of fault - yet again waiting for a "new" part for a "new" cooker!!! Overall I find it underhand to state that an item is in stock at time of order when clearly it is not - I would not recommend Hughes Electrical Direct for that reason alone

Hughes were brilliant all the way along the line, confirming the order and delivery date efficiently, and then giving us the phone number of the delivery firm so we could ring to check roughly when the washer was going to be delivered. First class!
