Tahiti Kayak with Pump, Skeg & Paddle
The Tahiti kayak is lightweight and compact when stowed away. This has made it the choice of expeditions everywhere from Australia to the Antarctic. And also of less serious adventurers exploring their local river pond or canal! Clever design - ridged floor and air-filled crossmembers - means it paddles almost as well as a rigid-hulled boat. The fabric is PVC, with "boston" valves (like you would find on a conventional inflatable) on the two main chambers. It takes about six minutes to inflate and is supplied with one double-ended two-part paddle, a skeg (for directional stability) and a footpump as standard. Length 106, beam 27, weight 25-lb, max capacity 380-lb. Packs down to just 24x16x6".
