Frequently Asked Questions
Find all the most common questions about PriceRunner below. Please note we don’t actually sell anything ourselves If you cannot find your question below, you can contact us directly
General
- Does PriceRunner sell anything?
-
- PriceRunner is a price comparison site, we not sell any anything but list thousands of products and the retailers who sell them.
- We are a guide to show who sells the product you want and which retailer can give you the best price.
- PriceRunner does not stock sell or deal with any product you buy.
- If you have any queries about your order, you need to contact the retailer directly.
- Does PriceRunner vet retailers before you list them?
- We list retailers who pay for an Enhanced Listing (which includes displaying a logo, direct links and a message from the retailer) and other retailers from who we do not receive any advertising revenue. 'Free' retailers are listed where we believe they are: reputable*; competitively priced; with a range of products and good delivery services; return policies and customer support. Our ambition is to list as many retailers, products and prices as possible, but we can never guarantee that all prices and products are listed on PriceRunner.co.uk, whether they are from 'free' or 'paying' retailers.
- *PriceRunner does not make any claims as to the reliability or quality of the retailers we list, however we will remove a retailer (paying or free) if we believe they are disreputable.
- We urge our users to use their own judgment with the help of: Retailer reviews, posts in the forum, read our safe shopping tips and to look out for the Isis Logo next to the retailer name. Wherever you see this logo, it means that the relevant retailer has:
-
- Registered with the ISIS programme and undertaken to trade in a manner that is LEGAL, DECENT, HONEST, TRUTHFUL AND FAIR;
- Had its web site and service reviewed and monitored by IMRG
- Had its Business, VAT and Data Protection registrations checked by IMRG
Reviews
- How do I write a review?
- Most retailers on our site have a review system where once you have made a purchase online, through PriceRunner, you are asked to fill out a short survey. Two weeks after you have made the purchase you are emailed again to fill out a short survey about your experience. This then becomes the published review on PriceRunner. If you have missed this opportunity, please use our Forum to discuss products and retailers.
- Why is my review not showing on the site?
- If you have post your review directly from the PriceRunner site, it will be published the following day.
- How do I edit or remove my review?
- You cannot change or edit a review. If you would like your review removed, please contact infouk@pricerunner.com
